Visitors should take note that Antigua alone has more than 350 beaches, with all open to the public. Many are noted as some of the finest throughout the Caribbean. To experience those rated most often as the finest, it is best to experience them by their geographic positions along the coasts:

Jumby Bay

A private resort, it offers private beaches to property owners but also remarkable beaches for visitors in the villas. Jumby Bay Beach and Pasture Beach are two of the finest.

Northwest Antigua

Dickenson Bay is the obvious forerunner, along with Runaway Bay. Fort James has a nice beach along with that at Deep Bay. Surfers favor Galley Bay and the Hawksbill area has four excellent beaches.

Southwest Antigua

Less development makes for more isolated and secluded beaches. Some of the best include Fryes Bay, Jolly Beach and those of Johnson's Point. Doigs Beach and Rendezvous Bay are very popular and Pigeon Point is a favorite.

East Antigua

The even less developed eastern areas of the island provide such fine beaches as those of Half Moon Bay and Long Bay.

Barbuda

The entire island is often described as the perfect beach with hits miles of pink and white sands, but it is the beaches along the southwestern region that offer the most sheltered and appealing.

WHAT OUR GUESTS ARE SAYING

"Isle Blue is everything they say they are. They were a pleasure to deal with and were very responsive and informative. The pictures on their website are exactly what you end up getting and they provide full concierge service throughout your stay. My family and I had an amazing time and before we even returned home, we went to the Isle Blue website to check out their inventory for our next vacation. They really are just that good!"
