Hike and Bike Tour

This tour starts with a hike from Martin’s Bay, St. John, a small fishing village situated on the Atlantic side of the island. Along the hiking route, we take in Three Boys Rock, Glenburnie, and Tent Bay on our trek toward our final destination in Bathsheba, St. Joseph. Here we pick up the eBikes and ride across the newly constructed wooden bridge that spans Joe’s River.

Then we ride along the East Coast Road that runs parallel to the Atlantic Ocean and links Cattlewash to Belleplaine – ocean on one side beautifully juxtaposed with hills on the other. Now we start our ascent of Chalky Mount, a unique grouping of clay and sandstone hills.

The summit is home to the Chalky Mount Rum Shop, which arguably serves up the coldest beers on the island & a great spot to catch our breath & maybe a cold one if that's your thing. Then we turn for home via The Saddle Back with cascading views on either side as we drop into Bathsheba; our original start point.
