Round The Island Ride Challenge

Not up for a tour? Looking for more of a challenge – something with some bragging rights built-in? Then join us for our Round-the-Island Ride Challenge!

Your vehicle supported expedition begins from our bike shop, in St. Lawrence Gap, before the crack of dawn. Still under the cover of darkness, we head northwards keeping the Caribbean Sea on our left with the objective of rounding the northeast tip of the island as dawn breaks. That experience, in and of itself, is breathtaking enough but alas, we have a Challenge to complete.

As first light cascades through the gullies of the east coast we make the turn dropping downhill into the east coast via Morgan Lewis Windmill through Cattlewash, across the bridge at Joe’s River, into the famous Bathsheba and out through Bath and Codrington College.

With most of the hills now past us, we head out to the flatter south east coast with still some distance to go to complete our Challenge. Past the Crane, then Grantley Adams International Airport and down Wilcox Hill, we head to the south coast and homeward bound to the bike shop.

While you can take a break in the support vehicle at any point, you arrive at the culmination of your Challenge both tired and elated at the same time. This 105 km perimeter ride of Barbados, with 1000 meters of elevation gain, ticks all the boxes of the adventurer inside you.

WHAT OUR GUESTS ARE SAYING

"Isle Blue is everything they say they are. They were a pleasure to deal with and were very responsive and informative. The pictures on their website are exactly what you end up getting and they provide full concierge service throughout your stay. My family and I had an amazing time and before we even returned home, we went to the Isle Blue website to check out their inventory for our next vacation. They really are just that good!"
