It’s just a ten-minute walk or a two-minute drive to the slopes, and a short stroll to Val d'Isere's renowned bars, restaurants, and shops. With a private, tunneled entrance and lifts to all floors, Etoile du Nord is one of the most private and exclusive chalets in Val d'Isere.
A marvel of design and engineering, this vast chalet is also an elegant, sophisticated, and welcoming space that seamlessly blends contemporary and traditional styles. Internally clad in smooth, handsome oak, Etoile du Nord - East Wing is designed with exquisite attention to detail. The owners affectionately refer to the living and dining space as the 'wow room' due to the reaction of guests when they first see the sensational mountain backdrop. The open-plan living area features a generous seating area with large, comfortable sofas, and a wood-burning fireplace beneath a stunning faceted chimney breast. The bespoke kitchen combines fumed oak cabinets with Miele appliances and a large central stone island, catering to both exclusive dining experiences and relaxed family-style meals. A smaller bar area next to the dining space includes a drinks fridge, sink, and hot water tap, allowing guests to access hot and cold drinks throughout the day without always needing butler service. Etoile du Nord maintains exceptional standards and exquisite service, with homely touches embraced at every turn, creating the ultimate chalet experience.
The fabulous design continues in the generous bedrooms. All bedrooms feature en-suite marble bathrooms, some with vast walk-in showers and others with beautiful baths for a post-slope soak while listening to your favorite podcast (Sonos is built-in throughout the chalet). Three of the six bedrooms offer 'Zipsn'Lock' beds, which can be converted from large doubles to singles as required. Additionally, there is a large bunk room with quad bunk beds, though it does not have a window.
One of the most remarkable elements of Etoile Du Nord - East Wing is the 6m x 2.7m indoor/outdoor swimming pool, the focus of the exceptional, light-filled spa area. The pool is separated from the elements by a retractable glass wall that can be lowered or lifted as desired and as the weather allows. Guests can swim outside in the snow or stay in the warmth and look down to view the extraordinary Perspex window overlooking the cinema room. The pool depth is adjustable up to 3m. The spa also includes a large steam room, a shower, a relaxation zone, a massage room, and a Peloton bike. An outdoor terrace with a hot tub is directly accessible from the spa.
The chalet's ground floor features a stylish cinema room with a fully stocked bar and a large sofa area perfect for movie nights. A large wall-mounted TV and a view of the swimming pool through the vast Perspex window add to the ambiance. The spacious bunk room is located off the cinema room, and the entire space can be opened up to create larger games or children's areas as needed.
On the basement level, the chalet benefits from a large garage shared with the neighboring chalet, three dedicated parking spaces, a private ski and boot room, a private laundry room, and an elevator connecting all floors. There is also a professional kitchen on this level, where your chef may cook if you stay on a catered basis, or they can use the private in-chalet kitchen on the living floor. The professional kitchen is not for guest use.

While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
