The amazingly beautiful islands of Turks and Caicos have some of the most beautiful beaches in the entire world. The islands are surrounded by a large coral reef and offer beaches with powdery white sand, sparkling turquoise seas and excellent snorkeling. You can find your own personal paradise here on a deserted stretch of sand or a popular beach destination. Pack your sunscreen and some water and explore the coastal beaches for a glorious relaxing day on the islands. If you are staying on Providenciales Island, aka Provo, you will find many beaches closeby. For a quick day trip, pack up and go to North Caicos to explore other stunning beaches.

Award-Winning Grace Bay, Providenciales

Grace Bay Beach was cited as the World’s Leading Beach at the World Travel Awards for several years. This popular 12 mile beach has wonderful snorkeling and diving.

Discovering Malcolm Roads Beach, Providenciales

Malcolm Roads Beach is slightly out of the way, but the search is worth the effort. This charming cove is part of the Northwest Point Marine National Park. It can be reached with a hardy 4 x 4, or, better still, by asking your tour boat guide to take you there.

Horseback Riding on Long Bay Beach, Providenciales

Three-mile Long Bay Beach is isolated and lovely with cooling eastern breezes. The shallow waters make it a perfect spot for young children, and Provo Ponies provides horses for a ride along the water’s edge. Watch the kite boarders, or try kite boarding yourself.

Chalk Sound Lagoon, Providenciales

Sapodilla Bay Beach and Taylor Bay are part of the Chalk Sound National Park. Enjoy shallow water, stunning clear blue water and the soft silt ocean bottom in this uninhabited area.

Snorkeling at the Bight Reef, Providenciales

Snorkel just offshore at Bight Reef. If you dare, try the SNUBA diving experience, where your 20 foot dive is supervised and air tanks stay on the surface.

Bird Watching on Sandy Point Beach, North Caicos

Sandy Point is a graceful crescent of white sand contrasted with azure blue ocean waters. Explore nearby caves that once sheltered the Lucayan Indians, and watch tropical birds that claim this secluded spot as home.

Conch Shells on Whitby Beaches, North Caicos

The Three Mary Cays are perfect for snorkeling, and the secluded, palm lined Pelican Point Beach has a profusion of conch shells in various sizes.
