Getting to the tropical islands of Turks and Caicos is quick and easy. The islands that make up the chain are less than 90 minutes from Miami and are serviced by major airlines offering direct flights from multiple cities. There are two full-service international airports on Turks and Caicos: the main airport on Providenciales (Provo) island, and another on Grand Turk. Providenciales International Airport (PLS) on the western end of the island chain is the gateway to the other islands in Turks and Caicos. To reach the other islands, visitors fly into the Provo airport and then hop a short domestic flight to their destination. Vacationers staying in Grand Turk generally fly into the Grand Turk international airport (GDT) on the eastern end of the island chain when flights are available.

Providenciales International Airport is a modern facility with a terminal building and one runway. Dozens of international flights arrive weekly from North America, Europe and neighboring Caribbean islands. Visitors headed for other Turks and Caicos islands must clear immigration, go through customs and claim their baggage at Provo airport prior to boarding a connecting flight from the domestic departure area. Major airlines run flights into the Turks and Caicos from cities including Miami, New York, Atlanta, Charlotte and Boston. In addition, ferry service is now available between the island of Providenciales and the island of North Caicos.

Once you land, if you are staying on Provo you will want to rent a car or take a taxi from the airport to your destination. If you rent a car, be aware that people here drive on the left hand side of the road. Vacationers visiting the Turks and Caicos Islands from the United States must possess an up-to-date passport.

"Isle Blue is everything they say they are. They were a pleasure to deal with and were very responsive and informative. The pictures on their website are exactly what you end up getting and they provide full concierge service throughout your stay. My family and I had an amazing time and before we even returned home, we went to the Isle Blue website to check out their inventory for our next vacation. They really are just that good!"
