Private jets can use both Pisa and Florence airports BUT they have to park at Milan airport, which has an area set aside for private jet handling.

By train

The Italian railway system, run by Trenitalia, is connected with the rest of the European rail system so it is easy to reach Tuscany from other parts of Italy and Europe. The main rail route is via Florence with another service along the coast from Rome via Pisa. Direct international trains arrive in Florence from Paris, Calais (in the summer months), Brussels, Amsterdam, Basel and Munich.
