Until the 1970s, "Cabo" was a very sleepy fishing port that took around three hours to reach by car or a lengthy trip by boat. Towards the end of the 70s, though, the airport was built north of San Jose del Cabo and almost immediately, people began visiting the area and growing the Cabo San Lucas region. This is why there are the two distinct characters to be found.
However, almost all travelers arrive at the Los Cabos International Airport. It is served by most of the major American and Mexican airlines along with several Canadian carriers as well. Though many complain that getting out of this bustling airport can be a hassle, clients of Isle Blue can easily arrange for pickup and transport services to their villa.
You may also drive from Tijuana to the region along the famous Highway1, but this is not recommended as there are not many services for travelers. Instead, allow us to get you to and from the airport, taking you directly to your luxury villa and ensuring your vacation begins happily, smoothly and comfortably. Then, you can decide what to do with your days in Cabo.
