A jungle adventure tour like no other. Use a quality mountain bike to ride through jungle paths & trails during the morning, a perfect mix of nature, exercise and exhilaration.
With a bit of luck there is even a chance to spot a bit of local wildlife. The trails lead us to the famous cenotes of Tankah - 3 different and unique bodies of water where we cliff jump, snorkel, zipline and canoe.
The cenotes are wonderfully refreshing after jungle biking, and the activities in the water fun and energizing!
Tankah is a beautifully curated jungle park, with fantastic infrastructure expertly integrated into the surrounding jungle, leaving a minimal human imprint.
By using bikes you will be contributing even more to conservation efforts of the environment. And the activities on this tour complement each other perfectly if you like fun, adventure and excercise.
The trails can be considered easy for experienced bikers and slightly challenging for anyone not familiar with mountain biking. If you are not used to biking much, it is essential to feel comfortable riding a bike and most importantly bring a positive attitude! The guides will put your safety first at all times and we make plenty of stops to rest, admire the jungle, the cenotes and use the bathroom. Total trail time is short and there is opportunity to opt out of any part you might find tricky.
The ziplines are fun and fast (putting safety first at all times) and the canoe offers a brilliant alternative perspective of the water and the jungle. Our last cenote stop offers fantastic snorkeling in crystal clear water, where you can relax, swim and spot the local aquatic flora & fauna before heading in for lunch. A Mayan traditional delicacy of handmade tortillas, salsas, rice & beans, veggies and poc-chuc (grilled marinated pork). This is guaranteed to be one of the best meals of your trip, cooked by the locals of Tankah.
Get out in nature, exercise, keep a safe distance from others at all times and mostly, have a load of fun!
