By road

Located south of Paris and Lyon, east of Barcelona and west of Geneva, Provence has relatively easy access from major cities. Roads are generally good. The Alpilles area is located to the west of the main 'Autoroute du Soleil' A7 that links Paris to the south of France. The Luberon is located east of this same autoroute. Approximately 7 hour drive from Paris, 4 hours from Geneva or Barcelona, 2 hours from Nice, and 1 hour from Marseille.

By train

The French railway system, run by TGV / SNCF, is connected with the rest of the European rail system so it is easy to reach Provence from other parts of France and Europe. The main rail route is via the TGV station in Avignon. Another popular TGV station that brings guests to the heart of Provence is the TGV station near Aix en Provence.
Direct international trains arrive in Avignon & Aix en Provence from Paris, London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Basel and Munich. The travel time between Paris to Avignon is 2.5 hours and Paris to Aix en Provence is 3 hours.

By plane

Guests will fly into Marseille Provence airport (MRS), located 1 hr south of the Luberon / Alpilles by road. Regional, national, European and international flights and carriers service this airport. The airport is serviced by major carriers as well as bargain airlines such as Ryanair, Vueling, and Easyjet
