Travelers can reach St Barts airport through several various routes. St Barts can be accessed from St Martin, St Thomas, San Juan and Antigua. The St Martin route is the most popular and convenient option for most visitors.
For US and Canadian travelers, guests can choose to fly into St Martin (airport code: SXM) and then take a short 12 minute flight to St Barts from either Winair, St Barth Commuter or private charter. The flights occur frequently at every half hour. Please note that no flights are available after sunset. Alternatively, Isle Blue can arrange for a transfer to the St Barts ferry and coordinate transfers and ferry ticketing.
US and Canadian travelers may elect to connect through San Juan, Puerto Rico. The final leg can be arranged through Tradewind Aviation that operates upscale planes.
For travelers from France, our suggested route will be to fly from Paris to St Maarten (SXM) and to use Winair or St Barths Commuter to transfer to St Barths. Alternatively you can arrange for the St Barts ferry Voyager.
For travelers from the United Kingdom, we recommend flying British Airways or Virgin Atlantic to Antigua (airport code ANU) and then using a shuttle service from Antigua to St Barths. St Barth Commuter has launched a new service from Antigua to St Barths from December 1st until April 30th on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Additionally, Tradewind Aviation has a daily flight leaving Antigua around 3 to 4 PM daily between the dates of October 15th until May 15th.
Isle Blue also features a VIP transfer service for expedited flight services as well as baggage handling. Contact us for more information.
Reaching St Barts by sea is an additional option for travelers. High-speed ferries from St Martin to St Barts is an alternative way to travel to and from St Barts and St Martin. Ferries run daily from several ports on St Martin such as Marigot and Oyster Pond to arrive at the splendid port town of Gustavia.
