Available levels:
Petit Yeti - Beginner
The Petit Yeti level is for children 6 years old or over and have never skied, or under 6 years old having already had their first experience on skis. The objective of the week is to develop autonomy in snowplough turns on a green slope.
Children will learn to :
- Side step up a gentle slope
- Get up alone after a fall
- Maintaining balance on bumps, dips and little jumps
- Use of chair and button lifts
- Mastering a snowplough turn followed by a parallel traverse on a green slope
Yeti 1 - Progress
Level Yeti 1 is aimed at children capable of independent snowplough turning on green slopes. The objective for the week is to develop autonomy in elementary turns on a blue slope.
Children will learn :
- Turning steps on gentle slopes
- Skating steps
- Traversing across a slope (using edges)
- Control of posture and balance with poles
- Starting a turn in a snowplough and come skidded "hockey" stop on green slopes
Yeti 2 - Intermediate
The Yeti 2 level is aimed at children who have already skied, are comfortable on green and easy blue slopes, and who are approaching parallel skiing. The objective of the week is to develop skiing independently in parallel on the blue slopes.
Children will learn:
- Rounded ski turns and side slipping
- Traversing on varied terrain, crossing dips and bumps
- Control of posture when skiing (body position and movements)
- Parallel turn on blue slopes
Yeti 3 - Intermediate
The Yeti 3 level is for children to progress on blue slopes in parallel. The objective of the week is to develop independently parallel skiing on red slopes, and to learn new turns.
Children will learn:
- Straight running with a skidded stop
- Use of vertical movement to commence turns
- Short radius turns on red slope
- General posture control
- Mastering the parallel turn with the use of the poles on red slopes
For categories, a medal is offered on Friday for young graduates during the Yetis Ceremony!

Our method
- A FUN learning environment enabling children to progress safely
- Instructors will harmonise groups at the start of the week and possibly change participants groups during the course of the week
- Our courses offer "Continuous assessment" rather than stressful end of week exams
- All our instructors speak fluent English.
Liftpass & Equipment & Lunch
- A liftpass Val d'Isère & Tignes is required from the first day of lessons ; you can purchase a reduced price lift pass directly with us
- Helmets are compulsory + skis + boots + gloves + goggles/sunglasses
- A snack + a few coins for a hot chocolate!
- To give you more time on the slopes, we offer lunch and childcare between 12pm and 2pm for only €35 per day

Booking Policy Full payment is required at reservation.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations:
- 20% is non refundable at time of booking.
- Less than 15 days and up to 7 days before the start of your activity: 20% is forfeited plus a 15€ administration fee is applicable on any reservation less than 300€. A 30€ administration charge is applicable on any reservation of 300€ or more.
- 100% forfeited if cancelled within 7 days prior to activity starts.
Change requests:
- Reservation changes after a service/activity is confirmed is subject to a $35 change fee.
Insurance:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The provider shall not be held liable for any harm, injury or damage sustained by any participant during any the performance of any activity. The provider holds public liability insurance which shall only be used and activated when The provider is found to be at fault by a competent court of justice.
The provider does not insure participants during the performance of any activity and strongly recommends that each participant purchases separate individual accident or travel insurance from a company of their choice.
All participants shall be responsible for their own actions and shall take responsibility for their own person and those around them. All participants shall be held fully responsible for any harm, injury or damage occasioned by them to any third party.
All participants accept and acknowledge that The provider’s public liability insurance shall not cover such incidents.
ACCIDENTS
In the event of an accident, the instructor shall initiate and manage the rescue and evacuation procedures until the arrival of the on-site competent authority (piste security, fire brigade, doctor, police,etc.).
The provider shall complete an accident report with the relevant instructor and the same shall be communicated to the injured party.
All costs associated with the accident, including any costs of assistance and evacuation shall be borne by the participant.
In the case of an accident or sickness which prevents the person from participating in an activity, The provider will not provide a direct refund. The provider shall however complete an accident/sickness certificate that should be presented to the participant’s insurance in order to obtain a refund on the activity. It is therefore advisable for clients to inform themselves on insurance options prior to the activity.
