Barbuda Belle is a Boutique Beach hotel featuring six exclusive bungalows situated on a spectacular and deserted fifteen mile long beach located within the Codrington Lagoon Park on the island of Barbuda.

All the bungalows are beautifully decorated offering magnificent views of the beach and the surrounding mangroves. Each beachfront bungalow has its own private large balcony, with stunning views on the nearby mangroves of the Codrington Lagoon Park. The wooden furniture decorating the bungalows gives them a rustic yet plush look.

The restaurant The Mangrove, is situated on the first floor of the Clubhouse where breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served. Our French Chef offers a gourmet a la carte menu; ingredients are sourced locally ensuring fabulous fresh fish and seafood, and personalized daily specials are served.  Room service is available.

Barbuda Belle doesn’t have s Spa for now, but arrangements can be made of a professional to give massages and beauty treatments in the privacy of the bungalow.

The hotel is solar powered combining comfortable luxury and environmental sustainability. At Barbuda Belle admire wild life and untouched nature up close while enjoying excellent French Gourmet cuisine with a local twist. The service delivered by the staff will prove worthy of the natural beauty of the island of Barbuda.

There are no planes in the sky, no big boats on the horizon, and no sounds but wind and waves at the remote paradise of Barbuda Belle. You arrive by boat to Antigua’s shy sister island and after a few days spent kayaking among the mangroves, bird-watching at the nearby frigate sanctuary, and lying on the pink sands, you’ll realize exactly what you’ve found: perhaps the most untouched hiding place in the increasingly developed Caribbean.

There are cuurently 5 bungalows with 1 bedrooms and 1 further bungalow with 2 bedrooms.

NOTE : Children aged 3 and under - free of charge.  Children aged 4 to 10 years staying in the same room with adults, : US $ 150 / child / night .

The rental rates include : Welcome upon arrival and villa orientation, daily breakfast, room service, housekeeping service daily, Frigate Bird Sanctuary guided tour by boat, use of electric cars or bikes to explore the surrounding trails, villa manager on call and utilities (water, solar electricity, WiFi internet coverage). Use of all non-motorised water sports (kayaks, snorkeling gear, Hobie cats (2), stand up paddle boards, wind surfs and fishing gear) is also included.  Provisions and staff gratuities are not included.

Getting to Barbuda Belle: Arrival by boat from mainland Antigua, a local representative will meet the guests at the ferry dock and then escort them to the villa.  Arrival and departure transfers from the Codrington Ferry Dock are included in the rental rates.

  • Antigua Tourism Guests Levy (applicable for travel October 1, 2021 onward) $5.00 per night per person (6 and over)

For new bookings, the Property Manager is modifying the payment policy as follows :
~ 30% deposit due at the time of booking to confirm the reservation
~ Balance due 7 days prior to arrival

For new bookings, the Property Manager is modifying the cancellation policy as follows :
~ If guests cancel the reservation more than 30 days prior to the arrival, 10% of the Gross Rental will be forfeited. 
~ If guests cancel the reservation within 30 days of the arrival date, 100% of the Gross Rental will be forfeited and kept as a voucher credit for travel to the same property within 12 months from original arrival date. 

The Covid-19 Modified Cancellation Policy is applicable in the event that :

1. The Antigua government refuses passengers’ entry based on their origin (whether by residence, recent travel to a particular destination, or based on flight origin).
2. A Foreign government issues a specific travel ban to or from Antigua that prevents a guest from traveling.

Common Questions
Do we share the villa? click to close
No. You will not share the villa with another party. The villa is exclusively yours. If a larger villa offers a lower bedroom rate category, the villa will remain exclusively yours but the unrented bedrooms will be locked off.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.

Yes. Isle Blue stands behind you throughout your entire vacation. Unlike other companies, each property we offer has been hand picked to ensure that our standards are met. All property managers are vetted and payments are required to be held in escrow. Our primary obligation is to ensure your satisfaction and to have an exceptionally memorable vacation.
Can you explain the reservation process? click to open
Once a reservation request is received, Isle Blue will request a contract from the property manager for your dates of interest. Once the dates are confirmed and contract is received from the property manager, a payment will be required to confirm your reservation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.
Can we arrange an early check in? click to open
Early check in may be possible but is at the sole discretion of the property manager. Early check in permission may not be granted until 24 hours prior to arrival.
Can we arrange a late check out? click to open
A late check out is rarely granted due to the turnover needs of a villa. A late check out may only be granted 24 hours prior to your departure from the property and only when there is no check in scheduled on the day of your check out. If a late check out is urgently needed please contact us.
Are transfers to the property included? click to open
Select villas may include a one way or roundtrip airport transfer while others may provide an escort or meeting point. Arrival logistics will be handled by your dedicated concierge as well as other concierge needs. The property's transfer policy will be listed under the Policies section.
What to expect upon arrival? click to open
In general, a villa orientation will be provided along with a key turnover. During the orientation, information and instructions for the property will be provided. Emergency contact information will be provided. We are available 7 days a week to assist with any urgent needs.
The arrival procedures vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.

Since these vacation homes are one of a kind properties, the cancellation policy is strict. We highly recommend considering trip/travel insurance to protect against any unexpected cancellations or issues that may arise.

What happens if the property becomes unavailable after I reserve? click to open
In the unlikely event, the rented property becomes unavailable due to a major issue that may affect a guest's experience or a transfer of ownership, Isle Blue will coordinate with the property manager to find an alternate property of equal or superior standard that is subject to the guest's approval. If an alternate property is not acceptable to the guest, the guest will receive a full refund.

Yes, we accept all major credit cards. American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted. Please note that credit card charges may be subject to additional fees. There are no fees with payment by wire transfer or check.
In the near future, we expect to accept a greater variety of payment methods and currencies via Stripe.
Is housekeeping included? click to open
Housekeeping tends to be a standard among vacation homes but the frequency may vary greatly depending on the property manager’s standards. Most properties will offer daily housekeeping (except Sunday and holidays) while other villas may only provide a mid-week cleaning. Please refer to the Policies section to learn about the housekeeping frequency of the property.
Are towels and linens provided? click to open
Yes. The property will provide bath and pool towels along with linens. Towels and linens will be refreshed as needed.
Are toiletries and tissues provided? click to open
A property may supply an initial supply of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels but replenishment of supplies once exhausted may be the responsibility of the guest. Each property varies in their handling of toiletries and paper products.
Is a hair dryer available? click to open
A hair dryer should be available at the property. Upon arrival, please check the bathrooms or closet. Typically, a hair dryer is included in each bathroom.

I cannot express enough how wonderful this vacation was for my wife and me! Like many of the hotel's other guests, we have stayed at many very high-end resorts as well as boutique hotels and our complete experience at Barbuda Belle tops the list. Certainly, the fact that we were the only people there for several days and, even when there was another couple at the hotel it still felt like it was our own private island paradise, helped make it such a special and unique experience. But, the confluence of quality rooms, an amazing beach and ocean, friendly and attentive (but not overly so) staff, INCREDIBLE food, and complete serenity are really what made this such a special vacation for us.

While everyone we encountered were friendly and professional, we interacted with some of the staff more than others and would like to express our appreciation for their efforts. Claudette was incredibly professional and made us feel welcomed and special while remaining very unobtrusive (something we were concerned about when booking a trip to a destination with so few rooms and guests). Chef Jean-Louis, well, what can be said about having your own personal, world-class chef not only preparing his recommended meals for your delight but also catching them that morning! Another concern we had prior to booking was that we might get bored with the food on an 8 night stay, that concern was quickly dismissed when non-other than an Iron Chef, who was also a guest at the hotel, assured us that first night that we are about to embark on a wonderful culinary experience! Boy was he right. The food was beyond compare.

Jermaine and Janice were both very attentive and did an outstanding job making sure we were well serviced and our thirsts were quenched. Ann Marie was exceptional, she is as professional and detail focused as just about any waitress in any top restaurant. And the housekeeping was phenomenal, Collette did an outstanding job of keeping our room in top shape. The guys we interacted with were great too, Relly, Norman, and Straight are very strong at what they do at the hotel.

We miss Barbuda Belle terribly! Our morning runs on the breathtaking beach, bathing in the amazing waters, the welcoming people of Barbuda, and, of course, the amazing food. We very much look forward to finding the opportunity to return soon to our new, favorite place on earth!

Isle Blue was so easy to work with especially trying to book from the United States. We went for our honeymoon and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! Our concierge‘s Mehdi was on point for anything we needed, reservations, suggestions on where to go and booking excursions. We will definitely be making our stay at Mirabelle Villa a yearly trip!

The Villa was more like a compound, it was extravagant with the best views you could imagine. We felt safe and at home, thanks to the amazing staff we were provided! Dania The housekeeper was amazing and our concierge‘s Mehdi couldn’t have been any better!

I cried when I left. Its just as the pictures show, stunning inside and out, multiple outdoor seating areas, pool was perfect. Beds all slept well and home is furnished with whatever you may need. A few stairs to get to boardwalk but well worth the exercise. Fryye Beach to the right Darkwood to the left. 3 minute drive to Jolly Harbour, Al Porta, Fox House, grocery store. Construction on the new amenities was not a bother at all, didn't even realize it until walking to the beach. Tamarind Hills Ocean 5 is a great choice.

We booked Ocean 5, Tamarind Hills, Antigua. The Villa was just as shown Lovely place with STUNNING views. Booking was easy. We used Perfect Chefs through the Concierge Mr. Bancroft, went to 2 of his restaurant recommendations and had every question we could think of answered. I will book with Isle Blue again without hesitation.

"Isle Blue was a pleasure to work with leading up to and during our recent vacation to Saint Martin. This was our first time booking with Isle Blue and our expectations were far exceeded. We booked very last minute (within a week of departure) and our experience was virtually seamless. We initially reached out about a villa in Turks and Caicos but were informed that the villa was not available. Rob helped us continue looking and promptly reserved the villa we chose in Saint Martin. We had the best time and loved having an on-island concierge that could help coordinate chef service, dinner reservations, and Covid testing on-site. I would recommend Isle Blue to anyone looking to have a luxurious Caribbean vacation!
Villa Carisa is absolutely STUNNING. The villa is exactly as it appears in the photos and really exceeded our expectations. The decor is minimalistic and makes the villa feel so peaceful. We were greeted by the wonderful housekeeper, Cindy, who gave us the grand tour and allowed us to pick our bedroom (since we only reserved one). She was so kind and answered all of our questions, as well as entertained our "ooh"s and "ahh"s as we walked around the property. We did not feel the need nor want to really leave the villa. We made breakfast and lunch at the home every day and ate out only once- otherwise we got takeout for dinner and brought it back to eat at the outdoor dining table. You cannot beat the views at Carisa! Cindy gave us flexibility with her schedule, allowing us to let her know if a certain time was better for her daily cleaning. She kept the villa looking beautiful and always asked to make sure we were doing well and did not need anything. Also- the property is very secure. You have to be let into the gated Baie Rouge Residences community by a guard and then the home itself has a gate, which opens with a clicker, which you are provided, or may be opened from inside the house if you are home. We felt very safe and secluded, which was what we wanted for this vacation. You will have the most magical time in Saint Martin if you stay at Villa Carisa! It absolutely was the best vacation we have ever been on.
