This three-bedroom gem sits just above English Harbour in Antigua and is steps from the marina, famous Pigeon Beach and the delights of town.

Recently remodeled, it retains its cottage charm and appeal while offering a surprising array of luxurious amenities. Many guests are surprised that an oceanfront cottage also features a stylish pool terrace, and you will find yourself constantly gravitating to this utterly delightful space. Surrounded by a terra cotta terrace and furnished in Colonial-styled lounges, the square plunge pool is sure to become a fast favorite. Opening to the enormous wooden terrace covered by an elegant portico, the pool area also features al fresco dining and large wicker lounge spaces.

The exterior is a remarkably colorful space with lots of potted plants, lush palms and landscaping and the bold colors of the villa itself, offering up a mix of saffron, green, cream and yellow. Inside, the colors are toned down with a white palette dominating the great room. Accented with appealing bursts of rose and natural wood, the space uses an open floor plan to layout the amazingly appealing lounge, the open-air kitchen (with wooden cabinetry and top of the line stainless appliances), and a dining area. With views from every room, it is easy to forget you are indoors!

Maintaining the cottage appeal, the three bedrooms are large, airy and open to or gaze out on the gardens or terrace. There are two king sized bedrooms with large, private baths and there is also a very large queen suite with a sitting area, kitchenette and large bath. All are equipped with Wi-Fi and feature that same, low-key and welcoming décor that speaks of the property’s island and cottage style.

Do we share the villa? click to close
No. You will not share the villa with another party. The villa is exclusively yours. If a larger villa offers a lower bedroom rate category, the villa will remain exclusively yours but the unrented bedrooms will be locked off.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.

Once a reservation request is received, Isle Blue will request a contract from the property manager for your dates of interest. Once the dates are confirmed and contract is received from the property manager, a payment will be required to confirm your reservation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.

Can we arrange an early check in? click to open
Early check in may be possible but is at the sole discretion of the property manager. Early check in permission may not be granted until 24 hours prior to arrival.
Can we arrange a late check out? click to open
A late check out is rarely granted due to the turnover needs of a villa. A late check out may only be granted 24 hours prior to your departure from the property and only when there is no check in scheduled on the day of your check out. If a late check out is urgently needed please contact us.
Are transfers to the property included? click to open
Select villas may include a one way or roundtrip airport transfer while others may provide an escort or meeting point. Arrival logistics will be handled by your dedicated concierge as well as other concierge needs. The property's transfer policy will be listed under the Policies section.
What to expect upon arrival? click to open
In general, a villa orientation will be provided along with a key turnover. During the orientation, information and instructions for the property will be provided. Emergency contact information will be provided. We are available 7 days a week to assist with any urgent needs.
The arrival procedures vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.

Since these vacation homes are one of a kind properties, the cancellation policy is strict. We highly recommend considering trip/travel insurance to protect against any unexpected cancellations or issues that may arise.

What happens if the property becomes unavailable after I reserve? click to open
In the unlikely event, the rented property becomes unavailable due to a major issue that may affect a guest's experience or a transfer of ownership, Isle Blue will coordinate with the property manager to find an alternate property of equal or superior standard that is subject to the guest's approval. If an alternate property is not acceptable to the guest, the guest will receive a full refund.

Yes, we accept all major credit cards. American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted. Please note that credit card charges may be subject to additional fees. There are no fees with payment by wire transfer or check.
In the near future, we expect to accept a greater variety of payment methods and currencies via Stripe.
Is housekeeping included? click to open
Housekeeping tends to be a standard among vacation homes but the frequency may vary greatly depending on the property manager’s standards. Most properties will offer daily housekeeping (except Sunday and holidays) while other villas may only provide a mid-week cleaning. Please refer to the Policies section to learn about the housekeeping frequency of the property.

Yes. The property will provide bath and pool towels along with linens. Towels and linens will be refreshed as needed.
Are toiletries and tissues provided? click to open
A property may supply an initial supply of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels but replenishment of supplies once exhausted may be the responsibility of the guest. Each property varies in their handling of toiletries and paper products.
Is a hair dryer available? click to open
A hair dryer should be available at the property. Upon arrival, please check the bathrooms or closet. Typically, a hair dryer is included in each bathroom.

Typically yes, irons tend to be standard equipment for vacation homes. Please ask the property representative upon orientation for the location of the iron.

Just returned from a weeks stay at this lovely cottage. House manager Claire is brilliant, she arranged airport transfer with local Taxi company JB's, and met us at villa on arrival, where she spent time explaining everthing & was very pleasant & helpful ( even stocked fridge with basics for breakfast on first day which was an unexpected & welcome surprise), we had only been in cottage for couple of hours when we had a problem with showers, we phoned Claire & she was back with us straight away, problem was sorted immediately. The cottage is beautiful, the kitchen is well equipped, & there is an excellant laundry room. Air con in bedrooms was a god send. Set in beautiful & well kept gardens, with a small but adequate pool, which was lovely to cool off in. Cottage is on hill ( very steep walk down oneside to Nelson dockyard, it does not take too long to walk back up but will gives legs a good workout), so be aware of this if booking. Walking down other way to marina/ pigeon beach is less challenging, as walk back up levels off in some parts, other way is uphill all the way.
May is very quiet in English Harbour, with very few visitors, & not all resturants open, we ate at dinner at Cloggy's & Trappas, both very good, and lunched at Bar B's, Seabreeze Cafe, Hot Hot Hot Spot, The Sailing Academy Cafe,and had very good takeaway pizzas from Pirates Pizza. There are limited shops in the area, the nearest big supermarket is a car ride away, but we managed to get breakfast supplies from Dockyard store,
eggs,bacon,sausage,bread beans,juice,milk, and frozen supplies for BBQ/pasta dinner, so cooked dinner at cottage twice(not much fresh foods available but they do good range of tinned veg/sauces.)
We did not do too much, as we did not rent car, but taxis are not too expensive, agree price when booking, did 1/2 day charter with Ondeck who are based in area, & did Stingray city which is amazing!! A must is the weekly Sunday night party at Shirley heights & the Friday night fish fry at The Copper & Lumber store, both reasonably price, & popular with locals/tourists.
This was our second visit to English harbour and was very different from last year as we visited in February, when it is very busy, and lots more bars/resturants are open. There are lots of brochures to cottages which list attractions/resturants,so use the phones provided by owners to phone ahead & check out opening hours.
A brilliant week, if you like quiet a great time to visit.

Loblolly cottage was a perfect location for our group to explore such a beautiful island. Everything you need, easy to be in and daily servicing left you feeling spoilt; perfect. The house manager was fabulous; informative, helpful and there if and when you needed. Pigeon beach on your doorstep, eat at Catherine's if you don't do anything else and take the round the island adventure trip. Starting to save for our next visit!

Loblolly Cottage is a true find. The cottage is gorgeous and well appointed. The pool is perfect for cooling off in and relaxing. The Guest Services Manager is always available and happy to help. The owners are great and even supply 2 local telephones so that we can all stay in touch during the day. Walking distance to the lovely Pigeon Beach, as well as all the bars/restaurants in Falmouth and English Harbour. We had the best time staying here and would love to stay again.

“PERFECT - Better than we could have imagined!”
Loblolly Cottage is the perfect place to stay. The cottage is GORGEOUS - even more beautiful than the photos - and offers everything you could ask for. The owners have truly thought of everything including 2 cell phones for guest use! Proximity to both beautiful Pigeon beach and restaurants/amenities on the harbour was ideal (5 min walk) although being at the cottage felt very private and secluded. The process of renting was seamless and our group (6 adults) was well taken care of starting with our greeting on arrival to the housekeeping service - everything we could have asked for was delivered! We will be back to Loblolly without a doubt!
