Villa Ocean O2 Antigua. Sitting just above one of the most talked about and famous beaches in the world (Darkwood Beach), the Villa Ocean O2 is a fantastic find for your next visit to Antigua. This two-bedroom, two-story property is the epitome of luxury and comfort, and it is replete with premier amenities, ensuring you can use it as your only destination during a stay. It is a short drive to such appealing spots as English and Jolly Harbours, and less than half of an hour from St. Johns, yet it is a world all its own.

It is located within the coveted Tamarind Hills property, and it features wrap around terraces that ensure you can savor the views from any room. Of course, most love to take in the sights from the innovatively styled pool terrace. With its uniquely shaped "wedge pool" framed by an oversized sun bed and small furnished terrace, it is the ideal spot to gather for cocktails, morning coffee or hours of fun in the sun. Nearby is the charming al fresco dining pavilion that also offers non-stop scenery, and all of these spaces open into the gorgeous great room.

Designed with a pale and neutral palette that allows the light to play beautifully into every corner, it features a comfortably furnished lounge and entertainment space, and it opens into the dining area. There is a large and oversized dining room and a well-appointed, gourmet kitchen that also gazes out to the sea views.

The upper floor is where you find the two generously sized bedrooms. The master suite is a king suite with private terrace, ensuite bath and entertainment system. The second suite is a king suite with terrace and private bath.

For new bookings with travel dates from December 1, 2020 to December 16, 2021, the property manager is modifying the cancellation policy as follows : 
~ If guests cancel the reservation more than 14 days prior to the arrival, US$250.00 administration fee will be forfeited. 
~ If guests cancel the reservation within 14 days of the arrival date, 100% of the Gross Rental will be forfeited.

For new bookings with travel dates from December 17, 2021 onwards, the property manager is modifying the cancellation policy as follows : 
~ If guests cancel the reservation more than 30 days prior to the arrival, US$250.00 administration fee will be forfeited. 
~ If guests cancel the reservation between 30 and 14 days prior to the arrival, 55% of the gross rental rate will be forfeited. 
~ If guests cancel the reservation within 14 days of the arrival date, 100% of the Gross Rental will be forfeited.

The Covid-19 Modified Cancellation Policy is applicable in the event that :

1. The Antigua government refuses passengers’ entry based on their origin (whether by residence, recent travel to a particular destination, or based on flight origin).
2. A Foreign government issues a specific travel ban to or from Antigua that prevents a guest from traveling.
3. A Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) Advisory against Antigua must exist.

Common Questions
Do we share the villa? click to close
No. You will not share the villa with another party. The villa is exclusively yours. If a larger villa offers a lower bedroom rate category, the villa will remain exclusively yours but the unrented bedrooms will be locked off.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.

Yes. Isle Blue stands behind you throughout your entire vacation. Unlike other companies, each property we offer has been hand picked to ensure that our standards are met. All property managers are vetted and payments are required to be held in escrow. Our primary obligation is to ensure your satisfaction and to have an exceptionally memorable vacation.
Can you explain the reservation process? click to open
Once a reservation request is received, Isle Blue will request a contract from the property manager for your dates of interest. Once the dates are confirmed and contract is received from the property manager, a payment will be required to confirm your reservation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.

Early check in may be possible but is at the sole discretion of the property manager. Early check in permission may not be granted until 24 hours prior to arrival.
Can we arrange a late check out? click to open
A late check out is rarely granted due to the turnover needs of a villa. A late check out may only be granted 24 hours prior to your departure from the property and only when there is no check in scheduled on the day of your check out. If a late check out is urgently needed please contact us.
Are transfers to the property included? click to open
Select villas may include a one way or roundtrip airport transfer while others may provide an escort or meeting point. Arrival logistics will be handled by your dedicated concierge as well as other concierge needs. The property's transfer policy will be listed under the Policies section.
What to expect upon arrival? click to open
In general, a villa orientation will be provided along with a key turnover. During the orientation, information and instructions for the property will be provided. Emergency contact information will be provided. We are available 7 days a week to assist with any urgent needs.
The arrival procedures vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.

Since these vacation homes are one of a kind properties, the cancellation policy is strict. We highly recommend considering trip/travel insurance to protect against any unexpected cancellations or issues that may arise.

What happens if the property becomes unavailable after I reserve? click to open
In the unlikely event, the rented property becomes unavailable due to a major issue that may affect a guest's experience or a transfer of ownership, Isle Blue will coordinate with the property manager to find an alternate property of equal or superior standard that is subject to the guest's approval. If an alternate property is not acceptable to the guest, the guest will receive a full refund.

Yes, we accept all major credit cards. American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted. Please note that credit card charges may be subject to additional fees. There are no fees with payment by wire transfer or check.

Housekeeping tends to be a standard among vacation homes but the frequency may vary greatly depending on the property manager’s standards. Most properties will offer daily housekeeping (except Sunday and holidays) while other villas may only provide a mid-week cleaning. Please refer to the Policies section to learn about the housekeeping frequency of the property.

Yes. The property will provide bath and pool towels along with linens. Towels and linens will be refreshed as needed.

A property may supply an initial supply of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels but replenishment of supplies once exhausted may be the responsibility of the guest. Each property varies in their handling of toiletries and paper products.

I had a great experience with Isle Blue. They stayed in contact after booking and made sure to finalize everything with me a few days before my trip. The villa was AMAZING and I was pleased with all services. I'll definitely be using Isle Blue again!

My best friend and I had a girls getaway and we stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath O2 villa (called Stingray 02 on the site that I booked it -- Isleblue.co). I thought the pictures on the website were good...we were BLOWN AWAY by the villa in person. We both remarked that we couldn't believe we had the luck to stay there. You absolutely cannot beat the views. You can see the gorgeous blue water from pretty much every door and window. To be able to sit outside and just stare at the ocean...WOW. Every morning there was such a gift. Trust me, you want to stay here at least once when visiting Antigua. It's worth every dime. Now, on to the details (or at least the things I'd want to read about in a review lol): The staff - Ahhhhhhhhhhh, Bancroft! We miss him already! He took such good care of us and really made two single ladies feel safe and secure. Tamarind Hills has a gem in him and I hope they know it! Darren was our driver for most of the trip and he was great! He got us everywhere we needed to go safely and he was super nice and so sweet. We didn't utilize housekeeping (we were only there for 5 days and we just cleaned up after ourselves) but it is offered as part of the deal. Internet - It worked better than expected throughout the villa, inside and out. I had the strongest signal downstairs in the living/kitchen area but I was able to stream (with few interruptions) YouTube videos in the master bedroom, outside by the pool, and in the master bathroom. I have AT&T and an iPhone 8/iPad Air 2. I was able to make AT&T Wifi calls and send/receive text messages with no issues. Again, the strongest connection for me was in downstairs in the living/kitchen area. All TVs in the home are Smart TVs and they all worked well. There are ample power plugs throughout the villa, inside and out. We were never left saying "I wish there was a plug here". We did not need plug converters coming from the U.S. Everything plugged in normally. Kitchen - There are a ton of plates, bowls, spoons, pots, pans, etc. If you plan to do full on cooking you may be missing measuring items and things like that. We did some light cooking and had everything we needed. There is a coffeemaker, a toaster, a juicer, and a blender. The stove, oven, microwave, and fridge all worked well. The grocery store is literally a five minute drive away and was similar to what we are used to in the States. They had a few things for us in the fridge but if you want real food (even down to spices), you'll definitely need to visit the store. I read about ant problems in other villas but we didn't have that issue. We did have a fruit fly/gnat situation though when we left some dirty dishes in the sink overnight. Water pressure - I am used to being beat down by the water in my shower at home so it was different in the villa BUT it was not bad at all. Amenities - There is a grill (we didn't use), a plunge pool (used a lot - not heated), a boardwalk (used), an outdoor shower (used - worked well), and a washer/dryer (didn't use - we would have but there was no detergent). Air conditioning - I always worry about sufficient A/C when traveling abroad because I am used to it being ice cold in S. Florida. This was NOT a problem in this villa. Whooooo man, it gets and stays cold in there. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans and that makes it even colder while sleeping. I have zero complaints about the A/C. It was perfect! The beds - They were definitely on the firm side and though I prefer softer beds I slept well. The pillows were squishy and nice. Other stuff - The villa is right between Darkwood Beach and Ffryes Beach. Both are within walking distance. Darkwood was nice, clean, quiet and the water was beautiful. There is a water park situation thing there that I saw lots of people utilizing. We ate at the beach's bar and grill and it was ok. Not terrible but nothing to write home about. We did eat at Sheer Rocks as well and this is place you need to visit while on the island. The food is AMAZING. While in St. John, we ate at Hemingway's and the food there was pretty good too. I'm already thinking about the next time I'm going to visit Antigua just to stay in this villa again. I don't see myself every staying anywhere else. We loved it!

Our concierge‘s Mehdi was on point for anything we needed, reservations, suggestions on where to go and booking excursions. We will definitely be making our stay at Mirabelle Villa a yearly trip!

The Villa was more like a compound, it was extravagant with the best views you could imagine. We felt safe and at home, thanks to the amazing staff we were provided! Dania The housekeeper was amazing and our concierge‘s Mehdi couldn’t have been any better!

Great staff, easy to contact and timely correspondence.

This was our second stay at Happy Bay Villa, but our first since the post-Irma update it has undergone. The interior and accents are very nice and the expansion to the kitchen was very well done. All bedrooms are well appointed and extremely comfortable with both new beds and new AC units. You can’t beat the location on Mont Choicy, as it is close to multiple dining options, a harbor to charter boats, and beaches to suit either those that want a crowd and action, to those that want seclusion. To make this perfect vacation villa really shine, was the service we received from Lydia, our house keeper and our amazing Villa Concierge, Axel. Always quick to respond to any questions we had, Axel was just a phone call or text away. I must say, his suggestion to bring a nurse to our villa to administer the PCR test for our entire party was genius. It sure beat standing in a hot line at the airport, wondering if we were going to miss our flights back home. We love St Martin and all that it has to offer…and when you have such friendly, professional, and genuine staff running your operation, it is an unbeatable combination for success. Bravo, Isle Blue!
