This gives guests a remarkably unimpeded view and direct access to some of the finest white sands on the island. However, Coral Cove 6 property known as The Ivy has a lot more to offer than its fine location and lovely views.
This property is one of the most upscale condo buildings available, and is the work of architect Roldano Bellori. The floor plans put an emphasis on maximizing the most popular features of the Caribbean - the light, the air, the sea and the skies. This is beautifully done with the use of an enormous patio facing out to the sea. Opening into the apartment, it floods the space with the gorgeous light and tropical breezes.
The patio of Coral Cove 6 - The Ivy features a comfortably furnished sitting area, an al fresco dining area, and a large Jacuzzi tub that gives a direct view to the ocean. The large patio doors connect directly to the master bedroom as well another set leading into the living area. Here is found the open floor plan that takes the visitor from the patio to the living room, into the dining area, and then to the formal and gourmet galley kitchen.
Everything is oriented towards the views, so even sitting indoors will allow guests to still enjoy the sound and sense of the sea just outside of the doors.
There are three bedrooms and three en suite baths in the Coral Cove 6 - The Ivy apartment. The master suite opens to the patio and is adjacent to the Jacuzzi. Each of the bedrooms is decorated with a pale and restful palette that is also inspiring and deeply resonant of the Caribbean in general.
If you want to get away from it all but avoid the resorts and hotels, this luxury apartment is your ticket to Caribbean bliss.

For new bookings the Property Manager is modifying the payment policy as follows :
~ 30% deposit due at the time of booking to confirm the reservation
~ Balance due 60 days prior to arrival

1. The Barbados government refuses passengers’ entry based on their origin (whether by residence, recent travel to a particular destination, or based on flight origin).
2. A Foreign government issues a specific travel ban to or from Barbados that prevents a guest from traveling.
3. A Level 3 CDC Warning or Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) Advisory against Barbados must exist.

When we walked in to The Ivy we were blown away with the beauty of the condo. Quite contemporary with an amazing covered deck overlooking the beach. The sound of the waves only heightened the pleasure. We were greeted by Pam who is the housekeeper. Just a super sweet lady who takes care of the place while you visit. We even had her cook for us one night and she made us her pumpkin soup specially along with a whole chicken and Mack pie. Was a fantastic meal. So nice to return from a days adventure to the table all set and warm, fresh, local food for dinner. There is a supplement fee for her to cook for you but it was totally reasonable.
The kitchen is a great place to cook if your not going out every night (definitely gets expensive at restaurants). There is a Hot tub on the deck which we never used as we are ocean loving people. The beach out front is a beautiful sandy beach with just a bit of small coral pebbles in places but not sharp so no worries about cutting yourself. There are beach chairs and umbrellas for exclusive Coral Cove use and we never had trouble getting 5 for our group as there are plenty for the building.
About the only downside of the location is that a few catamarans come into the bay to anchor and sometimes the music is a bit loud but we actually enjoyed the music so no big deal. There is also construction happening next door which you may hear from time to time but it wasn't to much of a bother.
Overall highly recommended. If and when we return, we would stay at the Ivy in a heartbeat.
