Large, airy and beautifully decorated, the Villa Old Trees 9 The Casuarinas is a rare find along the popular West Coast of Barbados. A third-floor villa, it offers such an array of amenities as to seem nearly impossible. Not only does it sit in a complex that is perched just along the sands of Paynes Bay Beach, where visitors have full access to the private sunbeds, but it also features community gardens and a gorgeous pool.
The villa itself is a nearly complete destination in its own right due to the enormous terrace which houses a private plunge pool open to the sun, a covered terrace where hours of cool and cozy lounging can occur, and an alfresco dining area for the best morning meals or evening drinks.
Just indoors, through the massive archways, is the open floor plan living space. A visual delight, it is decorated in a pale palette that bursts with pops of color from the high-end furnishings and art that have been put to use. The large and formal living room includes oversized chaise lounges, an entertainment system, and several large sofas for hours of relaxation. This area leads into the dining area and then to the kitchen. Arched openings ensure that you don't miss a thing even in the midst of preparing snacks or food. Of course, visitors can enjoy the services of their own cook as well as a housekeeper, butler and manager.
There are three bedrooms in the villa, and two feature private terraces. The other has gorgeous views, and all have large and roomy en suite bathrooms with the very finest fixtures.

While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
Please note that the Management of Old Trees has recently advised that necessary refurbishment work on the elevators at Old Trees is due to commence on April 17, 2023 and is estimated to be completed mid-September, 2023.
Works will take place Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm however any potential noisy work will not occur before 9:00am. There will be no weekend working. Management has advised that the lift will be out of commission for the above period and any noise will be intermittent. Access to the upper floors will be via the staircase.
