Villa Pimento Hill on Jamaica is a distinctive Montego Bay private home with a storied history. Built for a French Count and Countess in an era when Jamaica was the prime destination for the jet set, the villa hosted notables including Ian Fleming, the Kennedys and Noel Coward. A letter from Queen Elizabeth II is on display recalling happy memories of her stay in the Queens Villa on the grounds.

Villa Pimento Hill overlooks the sparkling blue waters of the Caribbean Sea and is just minutes away from the exclusive Round Hill club where guests receive complimentary membership. Nestled into six acres of lush tropical vegetation with mango, breadfruit and citrus trees, the villa offers charming hidden walkways, a graceful arched bridge, water gardens and a stepping stone path leading to the sea. Villa Pimento Hill provides six lavish bedrooms spread out in four distinct areas that are linked by footpaths. Enter the main villa via a cream and pink marble entrance hall and discover a huge great room with original mahogany flooring. Enjoy delicious dinners prepared by your personal chef and served by the butler in the formal dining room under a gorgeous crystal chandelier. Another option is to open the doors to the great room and step onto the verandah where you can enjoy cocktails before dinner and dine in the lovely al fresco area with seating for 20. A spacious master villa is located across the porte cochere where you will discover an impressive master bedroom with 12 louvre doors opening to sea views. Additional bedrooms are situated in the pool cottages down the path that leads past the shady water garden.

Our family of 16 enjoyed a lovely stay at Pimento Hill! The home is wonderful and an attentive staff made it a truly relaxing vacation. With three meals served to us daily, we were able to completely relax!

This was our second visit to Pimento Hill and hopefully we will return again next year!

Its a huge property with great employees . I had the best time, I didn't even leave the property to explore the other parts of Jamaica. The ability to use the amenities at the hotel a few blocks away was very key. I would definitely stay at the house again if I ever go.

What can one say,
I have experienced many luxury villas, this must rate as one of the best.
This elegant property enjoys a superb hilltop location with breathtaking views across the mature gardens towards the ocean,yet affords total privacy.
The villa itself is spacious and airy, tastefully furnished with antiques,and the owners personal items, making it feel welcoming and comfortable,
I also loved its 'jet set history' It is easy to imagine glittering parties with the notables of the day , indeed the Queen and Prince Phillip visited in the 60's .
Fabulous staff add to this special place, with discreet yet attentive help, and fantastic meals courtesy of Pansy ( though i challenge you to get her recipes!!)
Overall a memorable stay, with use of nearby Round hill being a marvelous bonus.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I would definitely rate this place a 10! The home is very well kept and the staff is outstanding. We were welcomed and taken care of extremely well. We were a group of 4 couples; and in my opinion, the best part of this home, is that you are not on top of each other. The bedrooms are all far enough apart for the secluded and privacy feel. We chose one of the bedrooms at the pool; it was great, just what I wanted as I was able to get my morning swim in before everyone else was up and stirring.
I would recommend a maximum of 5 couples as it would suite that number perfectly. I have been to Jamaica on numerous occasions (about 10) and have been all over the island from Negril to Kingston to Ocho Rios to Montego Bay as well as, Port Royal, Vineyard Town, Boscolbel and Galina; so I know Jamaica. This place is absolutely beautiful. You can have as much or as little fun as you want. We actually was up one night til about 2 am; without no worries or issues. Security even checked on us to make sure all was good.
Thank you to the owners for opening up your place to visitors; the staff was great and we very much appreciated all of their efforts. ( I hope they are respected and treated well). [Mrs Pansey, Eric, Errol, Ralston, and the Janet? I think, from housekeeping so sorry if that is not correct. But a great big thank you to all.
We shall return!

My wife and I stayed in Pimento Hill as a family reunion & what a fabulous time we had.
The house, the staff & the grounds & the views of the bay are just amazing.
The memories of balmy nights dining on the terrace, being served amazing food & wine & the fun we had will stay with us forever!
We are definitely coming back, just need to save a few pennies up first!!

Common Questions

Do we share the villa? click to close

No. You will not share the villa with another party. The villa is exclusively yours. If a larger villa offers a lower bedroom rate category, the villa will remain exclusively yours but the unrented bedrooms will be locked off.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.

Are we protected from fraud? click to open

Yes. Isle Blue stands behind you throughout your entire vacation. Unlike other companies, each property we offer has been hand picked to ensure that our standards are met. All property managers are vetted and payments are required to be held in escrow. Our primary obligation is to ensure your satisfaction and to have an exceptionally memorable vacation.

Can you explain the reservation process? click to open

Once a reservation request is received, Isle Blue will request a contract from the property manager for your dates of interest. Once the dates are confirmed and contract is received from the property manager, a payment will be required to confirm your reservation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.

Can we arrange an early check in? click to open

Early check in may be possible but is at the sole discretion of the property manager. Early check in permission may not be granted until 24 hours prior to arrival.

Can we arrange a late check out? click to open

A late check out is rarely granted due to the turnover needs of a villa. A late check out may only be granted 24 hours prior to your departure from the property and only when there is no check in scheduled on the day of your check out. If a late check out is urgently needed please contact us.

Are transfers to the property included? click to open

Select villas may include a one way or roundtrip airport transfer while others may provide an escort or meeting point. Arrival logistics will be handled by your dedicated concierge as well as other concierge needs. The property's transfer policy will be listed under the Policies section.

What to expect upon arrival? click to open

In general, a villa orientation will be provided along with a key turnover. During the orientation, information and instructions for the property will be provided. Emergency contact information will be provided. We are available 7 days a week to assist with any urgent needs.
The arrival procedures vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.

What happens if the property becomes unavailable after I reserve? click to open

In the unlikely event, the rented property becomes unavailable due to a major issue that may affect a guest's experience or a transfer of ownership, Isle Blue will coordinate with the property manager to find an alternate property of equal or superior standard that is subject to the guest's approval. If an alternate property is not acceptable to the guest, the guest will receive a full refund.

Yes, we accept all major credit cards. American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted. Please note that credit card charges may be subject to additional fees. There are no fees with payment by wire transfer or check.

Housekeeping tends to be a standard among vacation homes but the frequency may vary greatly depending on the property manager’s standards. A property may supply an initial supply of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels but replenishment of supplies once exhausted may be the responsibility of the guest. Each property varies in their handling of toiletries and paper products.
