Villa Lagoon Cottages at GoldenEye on Jamaica are designed as the perfect romantic getaway for two. These intimate Ocho Rios villas are clustered around a calm, four-acre lagoon.

Guests can relax at Low Cay Beach just steps away to enjoy swimming and kayaking in the crystal clear lagoon waters. Every Lagoon Cottage is equipped with its own private dock and brightly colored kayak for your own personal use. Settle into your private villa that backs into lush island greenery. Enjoy water views of the lagoon from your Brazilian hardwood verandah and relax on the comfy chaise lounges.

As a guest of the GoldenEye complex, you will find water sports, tennis, fishing and mountain biking right at your fingertips. Participate in a yoga class at Firefly, the former residence of playwright Noel Coward, and take a dip in the luxurious GoldenEye pool.

Inside the cottage you will find custom designed furniture, an oversized club chair and a flat screen TV with more than 200 international channels. The Logitech Squeezebox sound system comes stocked with a library of Island Records music to set the mood for an unforgettable island escape. Experience the real Jamaica and toast your vacation with local Red Stripe beer and your gift of Blackwell Rum, accompanied by Jamaican snacks from the minibar. Start off the day with freshly brewed Blue Mountain Coffee from the Jamaican hillside, and end in a custom-made king bed outfitted with handmade linens. Delight in wonderful surprises like deep, claw-foot soaking tubs, hand dyed batik robes along with bath and beauty products created from local botanical ingredients. Complementary WiFi Internet service, a CD and DVD player, an iPod dock and energy-efficient air-conditioning are provided for your convenience.

Do we share the villa? click to close
No. You will not share the villa with another party. The villa is exclusively yours. If a larger villa offers a lower bedroom rate category, the villa will remain exclusively yours but the unrented bedrooms will be locked off.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.

Once a reservation request is received, Isle Blue will request a contract from the property manager for your dates of interest. Once the dates are confirmed and contract is received from the property manager, a payment will be required to confirm your reservation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.

Can we arrange an early check in? click to open
Early check in may be possible but is at the sole discretion of the property manager. Early check in permission may not be granted until 24 hours prior to arrival.

A late check out is rarely granted due to the turnover needs of a villa. A late check out may only be granted 24 hours prior to your departure from the property and only when there is no check in scheduled on the day of your check out. If a late check out is urgently needed please contact us.
Are transfers to the property included? click to open
Select villas may include a one way or roundtrip airport transfer while others may provide an escort or meeting point. Arrival logistics will be handled by your dedicated concierge as well as other concierge needs. The property's transfer policy will be listed under the Policies section.
What to expect upon arrival? click to open
In general, a villa orientation will be provided along with a key turnover. During the orientation, information and instructions for the property will be provided. Emergency contact information will be provided. We are available 7 days a week to assist with any urgent needs.
The arrival procedures due vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.

What happens if the property becomes unavailable after I reserve? click to open
In the unlikely event, the rented property becomes unavailable due to a major issue that may affect a guest's experience or a transfer of ownership, Isle Blue will coordinate with the property manager to find an alternate property of equal or superior standard that is subject to the guest's approval. If an alternate property is not acceptable to the guest, the guest will receive a full refund.

Yes, we accept all major credit cards. American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted. Please note that credit card charges may be subject to additional fees. There are no fees with payment by wire transfer or check.
In late 2018, we expect to accept a greater variety of payment methods and currencies via Stripe.

Housekeeping tends to be a standard among vacation homes but the frequency may vary greatly depending on the property manager’s standards. Most properties will offer daily housekeeping (except Sunday and holidays) while other villas may only provide a mid-week cleaning. A property may supply an initial supply of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels but replenishment of supplies once exhausted may be the responsibility of the guest. Each property varies in their handling of toiletries and paper products.

We wanted a special place to celebrate my 50th birthday. We definitely found it at Goldeneye. The place is beautiful in an eclectic, down to earth way. We stayed in a lagoon cottage over the water. We had our own kayak which we used daily. We the most relaxing four days we have had in a long time with great food, great music and warm caribbean sunshine! We will definitely be back!

Where to start?!? Our vacation at Goldeneye was absolutely magical! Everything I had hoped for and more! As everyone has already stated...the ambiance and the staff were absolutely amazing! We never had to remind anyone of our names (not sure how they do that!). We loved our Lagoon Cottage, nothing like waking up in the morning, sitting in the warm wind drinking your French pressed coffee on your peaceful porch on the lagoon. Hmm...how about then taking a dip in the water right off your porch into the warm lagoon? The cottages were totally awesome! The outdoor shower, the clawfoot tub, the ultra comfortable bed, the personal kayaks...A++ to all! Add a great breakfast at the Bizot Bar to your morning as well...then head to the multiple choices of swimming areas (we loved Button Beach!). So much TO DO during the day (kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, etc)...or NOT DO (sitting on the beach having incredible Blackwell rum drinks brought to you by the cutest waitstaff!). The food was delicious...the freshest snapper I've ever had! And the Fieldspa...we had perfect massages in the most gorgeous setting for couples (try the Lemongrass massage!). And to complete our wonderful vacation, we planted a tree as a nice donation to the Oracabessa Foundation...everyone should do that! My husband and I will need (and want) to come back each year to check on our orange tree! Goldeneye will definitely not need to twist our arms to return. Yes, You Only Live Once...so enjoy life to the fullest at Goldeneye! Thank you to EVERYONE there!

Heavenly relaxation. Stayed in a lagoon cottage, so tranquil and peaceful. Loved the tub and the outdoor shower. Loved the porch and dock. resort was very quiet during our stay and never saw more than 20 people. Felt like we had the place to ourselves, which was a good thing. I have never been so relaxed as I was here. Hubby kayaked and snorkeled to see the coral transplantation project. We also got to go and see a nearby turtle release.We spent a day at the goldeneye pool. Service was impeccable. Food was amazing. The music embraces you with the culture of the island and the sound system both at Bizot and in the room fabulous.
Please don't change anything.
