Villa America, Mustique. Set in the heart of the private island of Mustique, with panoramic views of the bays below and Grenadines beyond, the Villa America is a space designed for those who embrace outdoor living, tropical settings, and excellent design.
The four-bedroom villa is sprawling and gracious, leading down a gentle slope, through a stand of mature palms and featuring two separate structures. There is a car park where your Kawasaki Mule is located, and from there you make your way to the covered terrace that looks into your private grounds. The gourmet kitchen is here, and where your cook can prepare all of your meals. There is an oversized living room facing the views, and the master bedroom suite is found here as well, with terrace access and a large and opulent ensuite bath. Stroll the elegant paths to the neighboring structure and you find the remaining bedroom suites.
Generously sized, they each have rounded, turret-like spaces, a shared porch that overlooks the grounds, and large private ensuite baths. The path leads down to the kidney-shaped pool and the deck that frames it. Here, visitors can relax in dappled shade or full sun, dine at the al fresco dining spot, and marvel at the scenery that is spread out before them.
Built of native stone and wood, this property is just another example of the care that has gone into the development of this private island. Homes are never taller than the native trees, and each property has the distinct feel of a private, exclusive estate.
Whether it is for a family holiday or gathering, or for a group of very discerning travelers, the Villa America is a wonderful find. Spacious, colorful, comfortable, and full of the finest amenities, it is just a short distance from the restaurants, boutiques and beautiful beaches that make Mustique a wonderful destination.
