Located on Obsidian Bay, a spot at the southernmost end of the private island of Mustique is the stunning Villa Ilanga. A five-bedroom property, it offers amazing views, impressive interior design and décor, and a welcoming atmosphere that may make it your sole destination on the island.
Designed with colonial style, the villa is sprawling and surrounds a stunning central pool area. With its own pool house, the unusually designed pool is easily going to become a favorite gathering spot. Mature plantings provide areas of shade, and the open air design also ensures you enjoy plenty of sea breezes throughout the day.
The pool terrace leads to the verandah and living room area, and this opens to the al fresco dining room as well. Crossing the terrace, you reach the media room, and this leads to the bedroom area of the villa. An enormous kitchen and laundry is staffed by the housekeepers and your private chef and you may access this area via the covered portico.
The master bedroom sits at the far end of the villa, overlooking the pool. With two private verandahs, it is a wonderful sanctuary. A large dressing room and ensuite bath complete the setting. The next bedroom also features a dressing room, ensuite bath and a verandah. The large third bedroom is at the rear corner of the house and has an enormous verandah and ensuite bath area. The remaining suites feature verandahs and ensuite baths as well.
With its classic looks, blend of natural materials, neutral colors and appealing décor, the Villa Ilanga is the perfect retreat for a large family on holiday or a group of discerning friends. The beauty and privacy of Mustique are invaluable, and the many amenities around the island guarantee that your visit will be unforgettable and one you long to repeat.
