Smaller than many villas on the private island of Mustique, the utterly charming Villa Sapphire happens to be one of the most prestigious and storied properties as well. With its unique blue-tiled roof and its direct access to Simplicity Bay along a private path, it has been a favorite of dignitaries, celebrities, and socialites who have been visiting the island for decades.
The three-bedroom property is a perfect spot for anyone in search of privacy, luxury, and the scenic beauty that only a well preserved location such as Mustique can offer. With mature gardens surrounding the building, and access to the sands and private grounds, the open air design of the villa makes it a rare find.
The villa has many unique features, apart from the blue roof. There is a pool with a charming gazebo at the back of the property. The terrace leads visitors to a media room and an al fresco dining spot, and also to the internal garden with its diminutive pond where even more privacy is found. This leads along paths to the kitchen and the shared living spaces. There is a day dining area, a living room, a sitting area, and a garden. The house is fully staffed, including a chef, enabling guests to enjoy the amenities without worrying about anything else.
The living room opens to a sun deck, but it is the internal garden that leads to the path to the beach. The master bedroom faces the beach and has a private sun deck and ensuite bath. The other guest suites face the sea as well, and one is in a smaller structure.
The Villa Sapphire will delight your senses and become a destination all on its own. With its staff, amenities and waterfront location, you may never leave it during a stay. If you choose to do so, you will have access to mules for easy travel and reach the boutiques, restaurants, beaches and spa easily.
