The location of the Villa Morne Trulah sets it apart from any other property on St. Lucia. Tucked into the heart of seven private acres, this amazing villa was once used by the French as a defensive position. Because of that, you savor 330-degree views that take in Rodney Bay at the north of the island and Choc Bay far to the south. You are also less than a mile from the stunning Trouya Cove, and you can wander the private nature trail that surrounds the property.

The four-bedroom villa also features a fully-functional vegetable and herb garden as well as fruit trees offering you a bounty of choices to enjoy. There is a croquet lawn and beautiful manicured gardens, and your stay also provides you with a chef and housekeeper to attend to your every need.

Clearly, these features make the villa a rare and fabulous find. Whether you visit with family or friends, or even book it for an intimate destination event, you are sure to be delighted.

Recently renovated, the villa uses simple lines to create its unique blend of indoor and outdoor living spaces. Everywhere you look there are views - whether of the meticulous gardens or the sea. These views are savored from an array of verandahs and porches, each furnished with flawless style and optimal comfort. A dining table beneath the shade of a tree allows you to dine with nothing but the sea in sight, while inside, the open air of the great room creates a staggering effect.

High, wooden ceilings and rich brick floors are balanced with the smooth and sleek lines of the furnishings. The formal living room and TV lounge, the piano near the dining room, and even the contemporary kitchen are amazing sights.

All four of the bedrooms are master suites with unique features that range from private decks and outdoor tubs to private beaches and pools.

When the ultimate luxury is what you crave, the Villa Morne Trulah has it in abundance.

Housekeeping staff – 2 housekeepers who alternate and provide housekeeping service for 6 days a week. -8.30am to 3.00pm.  The housekeeper is available to cook breakfast and lunch as required.

Private Chef – to prepare and serve the evening meal. A private chef is included in the cost of the rental and can serve dinners as required, included for 3 nights per week in the high season and 1 night per week in the low season. Menus can be arranged in advance and the appropriate fresh foods obtained from local markets by the chef.  The cost of food (with a 15% service charge) is chargeable to the guests.

Three full time gardeners.  One handyman (Nicky) resides in the staff quarters.  A 10 foot high shadow wall fence runs the entire circumference of the property and is complete with an remote controlled gate.

Morne Trulah is a truly remarkable place. Its location is absolutely stunning, atop a promontory and surrounded on three sides by the Caribbean sea. The views across to Rodney Bay are breathtaking and the house is beautifully laid out - we loved sipping cocktails in the wonderful open plan kitchen and two tier dining area as the sun set. The four bedrooms, all with fantastic ensuites, are beautifully furnished with comfortable beds, aircon, and magnificent views.

The pool is fantastic (and bigger than it appears in the photos) with amazing views out across to Rodney Bay, and the gardens are beautifully kept by the gardener, Sherman, who was incredibly helpful and a lovely bloke. The staff were magnificent, preparing delicious breakfasts each day and also meals that could be heated up later for lunch or dinner. It is a short 5 minute walk to the beautifully secluded Trouya beach below the villa - we had it to ourselves on all but one day in a 2 week stay.

I would heartily recommend you hire a 4x4 for your stay though as the driveway up to the villa is quite steep!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this beautiful property if you're looking for a luxurious villa and a memorable way to experience St Lucia.

I recently returned from this location, and am happy to say this was one of the best places I have ever stayed in my life. There are 270° views of the ocean, from a comfortable and architecturally stunning property. For my poor part, as a Wimbledon croquet champion, the croquet lawn was a huge asset. How brilliant to play croquet in the early evening, listening to birdsong, and looking in the distance at the ocean and Martinique. The staff looking after the property were most kind. The local beaches are superb and a trip round the island is highly recommended, particularly a visit to sugar bay. Try and stay here if you can...

This place was amazing. The views are outstanding and very enjoyable. The mosquitoes were bad at night but other than that I would he stay here the rest of my life. Staff was amazing be sure and get the chef to cook for you.
