Ballyhoo Beachfront Villa, Turks & Caicos. As utterly charming as its name implies, Ballyhoo Beachfront Villa is a one-bedroom cottage ideal for a romantic, tropical getaway. Situated on Providenciales in Turks & Caicos, the villa is a beachfront paradise just steps from the sea and yet a private little world of its own.
Crafted of stone and native materials, it creates a picture-book setting. Though it is a beachfront property, it has a lovely stone terrace complete with swimming pool, pergola, and even an enchanting little gazebo that gives you a bird's eye view of the surrounding landscape and sea. From your covered terrace porch, you can gaze inland and enjoy your mature gardens, or step inside to wonder at the lovely design and décor of the villa.
High, darkly stained wood ceilings are the perfect balance to the native stone walls and the smooth stone floors. Wooden and woven furnishings in the great room, create a warm and welcoming spot to cozy up on the sofa, enjoy a snack at the breakfast bar, or prepare a full meal in the gourmet kitchen. A modern entertainment system ensures at least one good movie night!
The bedroom opens to the terrace and is adjacent to a small al fresco dining spot. The four-poster bed is a welcoming retreat, and the décor is a lovely blend of craftsman-styled furnishings with the textured native materials. A large ensuite bath completes this portrait of idyllic holiday style.
From your first sight of Ballyhoo Beachfront Villa, you will feel enchanted. Mature vines climb the shaded porch, and charming paths bring you to the pool area and gazebo. Your own covered cabana hides your personal hammock by the sea, and a palm lined walk takes you down to the waters. You will most certainly love this villa and will yearn to return again and again!
Bedroom with a king-size bed, A/C, ceiling fan, flat-screen TV and en-suite bathroom with double vanity and wc. 2 guests maximum.

Great and well appointed home in probably the best location in Provo - steps from the beach and off the beaten path. You need a rental car and everything you need is minutes away including shopping - restaurants - beaches and visiting nearby resorts (they are only a 15 minute walk up the beach for cocktails or lunch). We heartily recommend this as a great place to stay and you will not be disappointed.
We just returned after celebrating our 40th anniversary. The cottage is a clean, comfortable and well appointed. We found that being the end unit was a plus as it gave us easier entry into the water- the cottage is on Smith Reef. The cottage has a private pool and a fabulous lookout tower where you can eat and watch the sunset. Ballyhoo has a security system and we were never worried about break-ins. There are lots of little restaurants on the marina. We especially liked Shark Bite. This is a great place for honeymoons and anniversaries!
The cottage is even better in real life than the pictures portray. Very clean, extremely well maintained, and pride of ownership throughout. Quiet and peaceful it was exactly what we wished for. Pool area was also very well kept up and outdoor furnishings were new and comfortable. We walked the beach daily and were amazed at how uncrowded it was at this time of year. We did not rent a car and only needed a taxi for transfers to and from airport and one visit to grocery store. It is a very walkable island that is clean, safe and full of happy people. It was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable beach vacations we have had in over thirty years of traveling and the Ballyhoo cottage was the best part of it!
Everything everyone else said in reviews is true and the description and pictures are accurate. The place is so great you could never leave to do anything else -- but do! It is private, peaceful, luxurious and comfortable. You can go snorkeling steps from the cottage. We enjoyed meals at the Mango Reef and Tiki Hut within walking distance. For a wonderful romantic evening go to Coco Bistro for dinner. The golf at Provo was above par. The pontoon boat ride at Neptune Villas of Chalk Sound was spectacular. The boat stopped for snorkeling and a visit to Iguana Island. We had a great lunch afterwards at Las Brisis. The beaches have white powdery sand like none we've seen and the water has so many shades of aqua and is clear and inviting. We enjoyed having our own pool every afternoon to enjoy the perfect weather. You can't miss with this rental, it is everything you dreamed of and more.
The cottage is really beautiful in a quiet setting. My pictures could not do it justice...the pictures online are a true representation of what the cottage looks like. It is beautiful, very clean and very well maintained. We enjoyed walking to restaurants for lunch and/or dinner and felt very safe even at night. We rented a small car for $20/day for half the week which allowed us to drive to Grace Bay and the grocery store as well as lunch at the Conch Shack. We very much enjoyed the privacy at the Cottage and having our own pool. We also walked on the beach from the Cottage to Grace Bay, although a long walk, it was great exercise. We definitely recommend Ballyhoo Cottage! We had been looking at this place for a number of years for a getaway and finally had the opportunity to rent it for a week.
