Villa Esperance in Lacoste, Provence - is located in the Luberon, at the foot of the village. It is a lovingly restored 18th century Provencal farmhouse that offers all the old-world charm you could imagine, along with all the modern amenities you want.
When you arrive at Villa Esperance, the first thing you will notice besides the farmhouse itself is the lovingly tended gardens, where you can wander to your heart’s content during your stay. With expansive receptions rooms and five en suite bedrooms, you and your guests can relax in luxury and enjoy a fabulous view from every window – the Mont Ventoux, the Luberon Valley, and the villages of Lacoste and Bonnieux are all visible from the villa.
Villa Esperance is constructed largely of fieldstone, both outside and indoors. The rocky land in this part of Provence delivered up its stone to create beautiful courtyards, exterior and interior walls, and arching fireplaces. Rustic wooden beams add to the overall feel of oneness with the land.
For your enjoyment, the property features a 10 meter pool, which is heated during the colder months. There is also a large conversation pit, and many terraces where you can enjoy a drink, a snack, or simply some good conversation.
All the bedrooms feature en suite baths with vanity and shower. Bedrooms 1 and 5 also have bathtubs.
During your stay at Villa Esperance, your needs will be attended to by a housekeeper, gardener and pool person. All you need to do is create fabulous meals in the gourmet kitchen or on the outdoor gas grill, enjoy satellite television and Wi-Fi, relax at poolside, enjoy the gardens, and perhaps venture into the villages for a day of shopping and enjoying the local culture.
Peace and tranquility are yours when you stay at Villa Esperance. Provence awaits you.
