Torre Bianca

Perched up on top of a cliff overlooking the sea in southern Tuscany, Villa Torre Bianca is very private and peaceful, yet well located to historically and naturally interesting places, it is an ideal place for sea and nature lovers.

Originally an ancient watch tower that dates back to the 13th Century, the villa has been recently fully restored and offers great views from its terraces and from the swimming pool below. A walkway leads down to the sea shore and the private sun deck while a private road gives access to the property.

The luminous lounge on the first floor offers again various vistas to the Mediterranean Sea, the terrace furnished with table, chairs and sun loungers is a great spot for relaxing or alfresco dining whilst enjoying the sea views and the Tuscan islands on the horizon.

The house is furnished with antiques, maintaining it's historical atmosphere, but the interior is airy, full of light, cosy and welcoming.

Today, more than ever, Maremma is the perfect choice for the romantic traveler. It offers a mixture of ancient civilizations, enduring local traditions, lush landscapes and numerous nature reserves. All of this is accompanied by an outstanding culinary and wine-making tradition. There are long stretches of fine white sand accompanied by lush pine forests, tiny coves and crystal-clear water, deserted beaches, uncontaminated islands in an enchanted sea, villages and castles that are austere and festive at the same time, gentle landscapes brimming with history and natural wonders. You can breathe the fragrance of the sea and earth all year long in the Maremma thanks to trekking and mountain bike itineraries and exhilarating horseback excursions, that take you to splendid natural terraces. Few other parts of Italy have so many charming villages so easily and quickly reachable from the coast. Often these villages have their origins in the Etruscan or Roman civilizations or are veritable gems of Medieval architecture.Yet another aspect of the Maremma is its extraordinarily rich culinary tradition with both sea and inland specialties, accompanied by the Mediterranean aroma of its olive oil and famed DOC wines.

The rates include: Concierge service by telephone daily 10am > 7pm, housekeeping service 6 days per week, end of stay cleaning, change of all bed and bath linens once a week, estate manager on call, gardener, pool cleaning and utilities (water, electricity, gas & WiFi). At additional cost: gas heating, kitchen cleaning hours (payable locally).

Please note: The private beach (small rocks) is shared with another property in the estate. It is possible to share that area or to agree on turns for use of the space.

General Information: The estate is 250m above sea level and is only 500m from the beach. It offers 350 sq.m. / 3.564 sq. ft. of living space and 2 hectares / 2.5 acres of grounds.

Damage Deposit: 30% of the rental rate payable by wire transfer prior to the arrival.
