Chalet Abade's prime ski-in ski-out location allows direct access to the Olympique and Solaise lifts, with skiers gliding past the expansive floor-to-ceiling living room windows. The village center is just a 5-minute drive away, and the main lift station hub of Val d’Isère is a mere 1-minute ski from the property, making it an ideal base for exploring Val-d'Isère both on and off the slopes.
The ground floor entrance leads to the ski and boot room, equipped with heated boot warmers for a warm start to your day on the slopes. This floor also houses three of the five bedrooms: two twin/double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms featuring sensor-activated lighting, and a spacious quad bunk bedroom with an en-suite bathroom adorned with stunning patterned tiles and sleek finishes. Additionally, this floor includes a hammam, rain shower, and tranquil massage room for unwinding after a day on the slopes, as well as a discreetly positioned large laundry room.
The first floor is dedicated to entertaining, featuring a stunning living area with a double-height ceiling, exposed beams, a grand fireplace, and a striking chandelier. Two sumptuous sofas sit back-to-back, with one side offering a cozy spot by the fire and the other providing a space for board games, afternoon tea, or reading. Expansive windows flood the room with light and showcase impressive views of the adjacent piste and mountains.
The dining area, situated between the living area and kitchen, is equipped with discreet wall-mounted Sonos speakers, setting the tone for any occasion. Stylish wishbone chairs and an open fireplace create an elegant and inviting dining space. The state-of-the-art kitchen, located off the dining room, has access to the balcony, where you can enjoy sunny outdoor lunches. The outdoor hot tub offers a perfect spot for reviving tired limbs while soaking in the majestic mountain views. A cozy TV room with soft lighting, a plush sofa, and warm, dark tones is perfect for family movie nights. The chalet is equipped with high-speed fiber optic Wi-Fi, Netflix, and Apple TV. The top floor features two impressive master double bedroom suites. The first master bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom and separate shower, has a private balcony offering perfect mountain views. While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.
The arrival procedures vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.
