St Barts offers a various array of beaches to experience. Each beach has it’s own personality. From the fine beaches of Gouverneur and Saline to the adrenaline filled Grand Cul de Sac to windswept Toiny for it’s natural beauty, St Barts offers the perfect retreat for each visitor. Here are our recommendations.

Gouverneur beach

Located on the southern end of the island, Gouverneur is our top pick for guests. The beach tends to have ideal conditions at most times. The beach is pristine and relatively uncrowded. Access to the beach is easy and there is usually adequate parking. The beach is about 10 minutes from Gustavia. Several high end villas are located in this region. The beach and turquoise waters are pristine.Located on the southern end of the island, Gouverneur is our top pick for guests. The beach tends to have ideal conditions at most times. Saline Beach

Saline is arguably another top pick. Saline is located in the southeastern region of the island. The area is undeveloped yielding a remarkable natural and serene setting. Parking is ample but guests will need to take a short hike over sand dunes from the parking area. The beach is pristine and lengthy, allowing visitors to find their own private paradise. Water quality tends to be very good. Topless sunbathing is common and naturalists do visit this beach although it is forbidden.

St Jean Beach

St Jean beach is by far the most popular beach on the island. Centrally located, the beach is anchored by the airport and Eden Rock hotel. The acclaimed beach bars of Nikki Beach and La Plage are located on this beach. Beach conditions tend to be ideal at most times. Good for families and windsurfing.

Toiny

Toiny is not a traditional recommended beach. It is not a beach that offers lounging, swimming or sunbathing. In fact, the beach is the exact opposite. Toiny offers majestic beauty and an opportunity for visitors to escape from it all- an opportunity to decompress and take account of the important things in life. The brilliant blues contrasted against the raw, undeveloped landscape buffeted by trade winds is an experience for the senses. Park the car and go for a walk or find that cozy spot to take in god’s great creation.

Flamands

Flamands has a multitude of strengths that makes it worth a visit. The beach is a great walking beach with exceptional views and beauty. It is easy to find your slice of heaven as the beach tends not to be crowded. The surf can be rough at times. We recommend starting off by having lunch beachside at Isle de France and enjoying a day of bliss.

WHAT OUR GUESTS ARE SAYING

"Isle Blue is everything they say they are. They were a pleasure to deal with and were very responsive and informative. The pictures on their website are exactly what you end up getting and they provide full concierge service throughout your stay. My family and I had an amazing time and before we even returned home, we went to the Isle Blue website to check out their inventory for our next vacation. They really are just that good!"
