Dunn’s River Falls & Zipline

Dunn’s River Falls is one of Jamaica’s most celebrated natural landmarks, admired for its breathtaking beauty and distinctive terraced design. Rising approximately 180 feet and extending 600 feet in length, the cascading limestone formations create a natural staircase that can be climbed.

The ascent is typically completed in a guided human chain, adding a fun and interactive element to the adventure. Flowing directly into the Caribbean Sea, the falls offer the rare and captivating combination of a waterfall and a beach in one extraordinary setting.

Adding to the excitement, the Zipline Adventure provides a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the falls and the surrounding rainforest canopy. Gliding high above the landscape, guests experience the scenery from an entirely new perspective. The course features multiple ziplines and suspended bridges, creating a dynamic and exhilarating aerial journey through Jamaica’s lush tropical setting.

Important:

• Weight limit for Zipline is 265 lbs
• While pregnant women can visit Dunn’s River Falls, climbing the waterfall itself or doing the zipline may not be advisable. Pregnant women can still enjoy the scenic views, relax on the beach, and walk along the paths beside the falls without engaging in the climb.
• For those with mobility impairments, including elderly individuals or those with joint or balance issues, the climb or zipline could be too challenging. However, there are viewing platforms and paths around the falls where visitors can still enjoy the beauty of the falls without climbing. They can also relax at the beach.
• Closed-toe water shoes are recommended for better grip and protection while climbing. They can be purchased or rented on-site if needed.
• The climb requires a moderate level of physical fitness. Guides are available to help, and climbers usually form human chains for added support. Water shoes with good grip are essential.
• The water temperature at the Falls is pretty consistent year-round. On rainy days expect the water to be a bit colder. Similarly, on hot sunny days, the water temperature at Dunn’s River Falls is less likely to be cold but cool and refreshing.
• The climb can be demanding for younger children. Families with small children under age 7 can still explore the lower sections of the falls or stick to the surrounding areas rather than trying the full climb.
• There are bathrooms and changing facilities
