About Isla Contoy:
Located 30 km north of Isla Mujeres, Isla Contoy is a small island protected by the Mexican government since 1961 and declared a national park in 1998. Known as "The Bird Island," it features the Ixlaché reef to the south, part of the world's second-largest reef system.

The name "Contoy" possibly originates from the Mayan words Kom (low or sheltered) and To’oy (shelter), referring to the shallow waters that offered refuge to sailors, or from Pontó, meaning pelican in Mayan.

Supervised ecotourism and regulated commercial fishing are permitted under the oversight of the National Commission of Protected Natural Areas (CONANP) and "Friends of Isla Contoy A.C." These efforts ensure the island's ecosystems remain untouched.

Isla Contoy is a sanctuary for 152 species of tropical seabirds, including frigates, brown pelicans, sea swallows, and cormorants, as well as 14 species of reptiles. The nutrient-rich waters attract lobsters, octopuses, shrimp, and large whale sharks annually, with 234 documented fish species.

Itinerary
 

• Departure from Cancun in the morning.
• Visit to Playa Norte to enjoy breakfast and relax on one of the best beaches in the Mexican Caribbean.
• Exploration of a special snorkeling area with a great variety of fish and marine life.
• Transfer by tender boat to Isla Contoy.
• Snorkel in another reef area rich in fauna upon arrival to Isla Contoy.
• Visit the museum, the lagoon and the highest part of the island.
• Isla Contoy is a protected natural paradise and a refuge for diverse species of marine birds. It has a unique biodiversity and beautiful natural landscapes.
• Free time at Isla Contoy beach, where only a maximum of 200 people per day are allowed to enter. You will enjoy crystal clear waters, white sand and a quiet and exclusive atmosphere.
• Return to the yacht with a succulent lunch prepared by the chef on board.
• Continuation of the tour to Isla Mujeres to enjoy the best sunset in the area.
• Total duration of the tour: approximately 10 hours.

- Sushi rolls and nigiris - Salmon , tuna, shrimp, vegetarian and vegan served with soy, teriyaki and ponzu
- Sashimi - Salmon, tuna fish served with soy, teriyaki and ponzu sauces
- Causa Limena - Traditional Peruvian Dish made with mashed potatoes, yellow peppers and olive coulis. Served with banana chips (Choose your protein: tuna fish, maki)
