St Martin is a highly popular and fabulous Caribbean oasis. The well developed island offers something for everyone. Whether you wish a vacation of divine relaxation or thrilling excitement, guests can tailor their vacation to their own accord.

Here are our recommendations of things to do while on St Martin.

Beach Hopping

St Martin is renowned for it’s beautiful beaches. The breathtaking beaches are among the most beautiful in the world. Visitors enjoy the turquoise water and white sand beaches shaded by palm trees. The island offers ideal weather (mid 80s with gentle trade winds) all year long. The best beaches to visit are Mullet Bay beach, Plum Bay beach, Baie Rouge beach, Baie Longue beach, Orient beach and Dawn beach.

One of the defining attractions of visiting St Martin is the culinary experience. St Martin boasts some of the best restaurants in all of the Caribbean. The European and Caribbean influences fuse to provide a unique and sumptuous cuisine. The French restaurants tend to be our top recommended options. We highly recommend the following restaurants: Le Cigale, Tropicana, Sol e Luna, Auberge du Gourmand, Le Tastevin, Temptation and Marios Bistro.

Loterie Farm

Loterie Farm is a unique experience nestled in a plantation setting at the foot of Pic Paradis. The plantation has evolved to become a highly popular and chic attraction on St Martin. Guests enjoy zip lines, hiking, dining and lounging. Loterie Farm features a very good restaurant as well as a chic pool lounge.

Beachside Bars and Dining

Enjoy a splendid lunch or a tropical drink at a beachside restaurant or bar. Visit the following beach side restaurants for a cool day on the water with amazing food and drink: Palm Beach, Waikiki and Kakao on Orient beach, Dreams, Le Sand, and Laylas on Nettle Bay, Chez Raymond on Baie Rouge beach, Chez Kali on Friars Bay, and Calmos Café on Grand Case beach.

Spa Services

For an utterly divine experience, we highly recommend setting up a private massage at your villa. Enjoy a decadent hour of pleasure and decompression at a stunning setting either beachside or poolside.

Private catamaran charter

St Martin has an ideal location with several secluded beaches and coves. Best of all, a charter can take you to nearby Anguilla or St Barts for an enthralling day on the water with great food, drink and company.

Fun on the Water

Get your competitive spirit and adrenaline flowing with a host of water sports activities on the island. Guests can partake in some of the island adventures that include racing former America’s Cup yachts in a thrilling competition or set out on your private watercraft for an island tour and snorkel at Creole rock or simply enjoy the adrenaline rush of wave runners and parasailing at Orient beach.

Kite Surfing

St Martin is fast becoming a hot spot for kite surfers. Kite-surfing competitions and training sessions can be viewed at Le Galleon. Better yet, let our concierge set up lessons for you to experience the sensation of flight and surfing.

Island Hopping

With it’s unique location close to numerous islands, guests on St Martin can day trip to Anguilla or St Barts. For the eco-tourists, set flight to nearby Saba to observe fascinating flora and fauna in the rainforest.

Local Rum

Enjoy the local spirits of the island. Try the local and renowned Guavaberry and Ma Doudou rums that perfect the taste of the Caribbean. The rums come in many different flavors. We highly recommend the Banana Vanilla artisanal rums.

St Martin offers exhilarating nightlife with lively casinos, nightclubs and bars.

Caribbean sunsets are truly breathtaking on St Martin. The best vantage points for the sunsets are Maho beach, Cupecoy beach, Plum Bay beach and Grand Case.

Plane Spotting

Spend an afternoon marveling at planes skimming Maho beach on their approach to Princess Juliana airport. Sunset Beach Bar located on the southern end of Maho beach is a popular hangout for refreshing drinks and prime spot for plane spotting. Try a BBC frozen drink and enjoy the evening entertainment.
