The Edge of the Banks is a full-day boating, island-hopping, and snorkeling adventure designed for guests looking to explore beyond the usual routes. With a full day on the water, there is plenty of time to travel farther, discover remote locations, and enjoy greater opportunities for memorable wildlife encounters.

During whale migration season, from January through April, this safari offers an exciting opportunity to encounter these magnificent marine mammals and, when conditions allow, potentially even swim with them. The experienced guide team will make every effort to create a memorable encounter; however, as these are wild animals, sightings and swimming opportunities cannot be guaranteed.
Wild dolphins may also be encountered during the adventure, sometimes providing the extraordinary opportunity to swim alongside them in their natural environment. The guides will keep watch throughout the journey, but all wildlife encounters are spontaneous and cannot be guaranteed.
This adventure goes far beyond snorkeling, with plenty of time dedicated to exploring the uninhabited beaches, secluded cays, and dramatic limestone cliffs of French Cay, West Caicos, or the western side of Providenciales.
The itinerary remains flexible and is determined by weather, tides, and sea conditions, allowing the experienced team to select the best destinations for the day. Depending on the group’s preferences and conditions, the experience may be filled with swimming, snorkeling, and exploration or enjoyed at a more relaxed pace with plenty of time to simply unwind.
No two trips are ever the same. Out on the ocean, every adventure brings the possibility of unique wildlife encounters, making each experience completely different from the last.
During whale season, the crew keeps watch for humpback whales, while dolphins are also frequently encountered throughout the year. When wildlife is spotted, every effort is made to observe the animals respectfully and, when conditions and the animals’ behavior allow, there may even be an opportunity to snorkel nearby.
Wildlife encounters are spontaneous and cannot be guaranteed, but being ready for the unexpected is all part of this unforgettable ocean adventure.

Complimentary transfers are included for resorts in the Grace Bay and Turtle Cove areas only.
For guests staying outside these areas, no pick-up is provided — you will need to make your own way to the meeting point. The meeting point is located on the waterfront along the Leeward Channel, next to Blue Haven Marina, just 5–10 minutes from most Grace Bay resorts. Please arrive 15 minutes before the trip.
Bring hat, sunglasses, comfortable shoes, camera, sunscreen lotion (must be 100% biodegradable), swimwear, towels.
Additional Notes: If weather conditions are considered unsafe, the provider will contact guests to reschedule or cancel the tour. If rescheduling is not possible, the tour may be cancelled without a cancellation charge.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation policy: 20% is non-refundable upon booking. 50% refundable if cancelled between 8-20 days prior to the departure date. For cancellations within 7 days of the service/activity, no refunds are provided.
*A 5% admin processing fee will apply to all refunds and will be processed within 2-7 business days.
- Change requests: Reservation changes after a service/activity is confirmed is subject to a $35 change fee.
