Today, the luxury villa is your private holiday home, complete with the comforts and service of a boutique hotel.
This award-winning, luxury private villa is an exclusive, three-bedroom holiday escape in Galle, which can accommodate a maximum of 7 guests, including children.
If you’re traveling with family and friends, this villa gives you a unique and intimate base from which to explore Asia’s only living fort and its surroundings.
The villa offers its guests a peaceful and tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of Galle Fort. Retaining all its original charm (the walls of the main house are made of coral and date back over 150 years), 41 also boasts all the luxuries one would expect in a modern luxury villa: fine linens, a pool table, mini library, swimming pool, and unlimited Wi-Fi.
The nightly rate includes daily continental breakfast, which you can either have at the villa or enjoy at Fort Bazaar. All other meals will be served and charged accordingly. Tea and coffee with French press is available in the common pantry / kitchen. Lunch and dinner are not provided at the villa however can be ordered from Fort Bazaar menu or private chef can be arranged on request, who will consult with you on meals and shopping for produce prior to mealtimes.
Located in the heart of Sri Lanka’s historic UNESCO World Heritage site of Galle Fort along Lighthouse Street, the fort’s museums, shops, cafés, and key landmarks can be reached within minutes from the villa. The town offers very easy access to stunning beaches for swimming, diving, and surfing, and for embarking on coastal cruises to observe whales and dolphins in the deep sea.

While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
