The Westerings Barbados. Ready to enjoy a luxurious golfing holiday with a private tropical getaway? The Westerings is a six-bedroom villa that can house up to 12 guests right at the 13th hole of world-famous golf course, Royal Westmoreland. You can access the golf course, as well as many other resort amenities, such as the tennis courts, the fitness center, and the dining options. Your view includes the rolling green of the golf course as well as the gorgeous sight of your free-form pool that is right out the back door of the main villa.

As you walk through this property, you’ll notice right away that island living is represented everywhere. Outdoor living space is just as luxuriously appointed as indoor space, with a beautiful verandah by the pool where you can eat or simply lounge. This leads right back indoors into the modern media room, where you and your guests can watch a movie or hang out. This level also includes the gourmet kitchen, which is at your disposal – or have a private chef cook up your meals during your stay. You also have the services of a butler, a housekeeper, and laundry services during your stay.

Outside you’ll find a guest cottage right by the pool, to offer some guests a little extra privacy. But all are welcome inside where the game room is located. It includes another media center, an air hockey table, ping pong, and more. The bedrooms have private access to the upper terrace, and the cottage suite includes its own terrace. All of this is what awaits when you book a stay in this beautiful tropical getaway. Whether you plan to stay on the green all day, or you want to relax in a stunning oasis of peace, The Westerings has something for everyone in your group.

Arrival Information: Guests staying at this property should choose the Barbados North Coast Transfer service area for airport transfers. We highly recommend the Barbados Fast Track service to expedite your arrival and avoid long waits at customs.

We hired the villa for a big birthday celebration for 12 nights in February. There were 10 of us staying at the villa. We did not hire the master suite, as we felt we wouldn't need the extra room. We didn't. The villa was very spacious with more than enough room for our party. I'm sure the master suite is beautiful and had our party been larger, I would definitely have booked it. The cottage is relatively basic, but was adequate for what we needed. The playroom was great and we made more use of it than I had expected.
The furnishings in the villa are nice, especially in the living areas. The bedrooms were also very nice with comfortable beds and good quality bed linen. The bathrooms and showers were generally good, though the blinds in a couple of the bathrooms could do with replacing, not easy to use, and a couple of them a bit shabby.
The pool is nice, but not large....certainly you might struggle to get ten sun beds around it- there were just 6. We were told that most guests seldom use the pool and go to the beach, but we do like to sit around the pool. I do think comfy sun beds with cushions would benefit the property, with maybe a few extra sun beds in storage to bring out when needed. These are small issues and did not spoil our holiday.
To conclude, the villa is very nice, but with a bit of attention could be excellent.
On previous visits to Barbados, we have stayed in hotels on the beach. On arrival at the villa, I must say I was a little concerned that it would not live up to expectations, due to its location (away from the beach) and it was a villa and not a hotel, where we would be waited on...I was wrong! The staff at the villa, made this holiday feel more special than I could have imagined. Junior (butler) and Tony(chef) literally could not do enough for you. Junior did all the driving, so making the journey to and from the beach was not an issue. Again, visiting restaurants in the evening Junior would take us and collect us. He did this with an easy going, obliging attitude and not once did we ever feel that it was hard work for him. He always reassured us that he was there for us, when needed and could not have done more to make our stay more comfortable. Tony was the same, always wanting to please us and going the extra mile to make our stay special. He cooked us delicious food and tailored it to our needs. Margaret and Janelle, the housekeepers both fabulous and again so helpful and obliging. Janelle even gave me a back massage on my birthday, as I had hurt my back. It was those 4 people that made our holiday and would leave a lasting impression on us all. At the end of the holiday, they felt more like friends....

14 adult family members gathered for a week . The villa has so much space the place never felt crowded . Junior the butler Tony the chef and Margaret and Janelle are just wonderful and made our stay unforgettable . Junior is such a professional and his attentive service , organisation skills and attention to detail is admirable . Tony the chef served breakfasts and an evening meal daily . The food was varied and high quality . Margaret and Janelle kept the villa in tip top shape every day . Clean clothes , clean sheets , clean everywhere !!

The villa is just stunning , the setting incredible the outdoor area and soft seating are luxurious .

The golf buggy was used frequently to ferry us back and forth to the well equipt gym. Gentle run or power walks will take you 20 mins each way if you're feeling energetic .

We will certainly be staying again next year .

Common Questions
Do we share the villa? click to close
No. You will not share the villa with another party. The villa is exclusively yours. If a larger villa offers a lower bedroom rate category, the villa will remain exclusively yours but the unrented bedrooms will be locked off.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
Are we protected from fraud? click to open
Yes. Isle Blue stands behind you throughout your entire vacation. Unlike other companies, each property we offer has been hand picked to ensure that our standards are met. All property managers are vetted and payments are required to be held in escrow. Our primary obligation is to ensure your satisfaction and to have an exceptionally memorable vacation.
Can you explain the reservation process? click to open
Once a reservation request is received, Isle Blue will request a contract from the property manager for your dates of interest. Once the dates are confirmed and contract is received from the property manager, a payment will be required to confirm your reservation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.
Can we arrange an early check in? click to open
Early check in may be possible but is at the sole discretion of the property manager. Early check in permission may not be granted until 24 hours prior to arrival.
Can we arrange a late check out? click to open
A late check out is rarely granted due to the turnover needs of a villa. A late check out may only be granted 24 hours prior to your departure from the property and only when there is no check in scheduled on the day of your check out. If a late check out is urgently needed please contact us.
Are transfers to the property included? click to open
Select villas may include a one way or roundtrip airport transfer while others may provide an escort or meeting point. Arrival logistics will be handled by your dedicated concierge as well as other concierge needs. The property's transfer policy will be listed under the Policies section.
What to expect upon arrival? click to open
In general, a villa orientation will be provided along with a key turnover. During the orientation, information and instructions for the property will be provided. Emergency contact information will be provided. We are available 7 days a week to assist with any urgent needs.
The arrival procedures vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.

Since these vacation homes are one of a kind properties, the cancellation policy is strict. We highly recommend considering trip/travel insurance to protect against any unexpected cancellations or issues that may arise.

What happens if the property becomes unavailable after I reserve? click to open
In the unlikely event, the rented property becomes unavailable due to a major issue that may affect a guest's experience or a transfer of ownership, Isle Blue will coordinate with the property manager to find an alternate property of equal or superior standard that is subject to the guest's approval. If an alternate property is not acceptable to the guest, the guest will receive a full refund.

Yes, we accept all major credit cards. American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted. Please note that credit card charges may be subject to additional fees. There are no fees with payment by wire transfer or check.

Is housekeeping included? click to open
Housekeeping tends to be a standard among vacation homes but the frequency may vary greatly depending on the property manager’s standards. Most properties will offer daily housekeeping (except Sunday and holidays) while other villas may only provide a mid-week cleaning. Please refer to the Staff section to learn about the housekeeping frequency of the property.

Yes. The property will provide bath and pool towels along with linens. Towels and linens will be refreshed as needed.
Are toiletries and tissues provided? click to open
A property may supply an initial supply of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels but replenishment of supplies once exhausted may be the responsibility of the guest. Each property varies in their handling of toiletries and paper products.
Is a hair dryer available? click to open
A hair dryer should be available at the property. Upon arrival, please check the bathrooms or closet. Typically, a hair dryer is included in each bathroom.
Is an iron included? click to open
Typically yes, irons tend to be standard equipment for vacation homes. Please ask the property representative upon orientation for the location of the iron.

The Mullins Beach Club sustained damage from the rough seas during the passage of Hurricane Beryl on the 1 July 2024.  As a result it is closed for reconstruction, no completion date has been issued so far. 

However, Mullins Beach is open and guests staying at properties that include Mullins Beach Club Membership can get a lounge chair, parasol and beach towels from the beach attendants as is customary.  The car parking facility at Singita Wellness is still open to guests with membership.  Bathroom facilities are located across the road from the beach club and are separate from Singita’s bathrooms. The SeaShed beach bar / restaurant is located next door to the Mullins Beach Club and will be open everyday from 11:30am (always check directly with the SeaShed for changes to opening days / times), this is a recommended option
