Villa Sandalwood House is part of the opulent and prestigious Sandy Lane Estates along the gorgeous western coast of Barbados. A fully-staffed property, guests enjoy the attentive services of a personal chef, the villa’s butler and host, gardening crew, laundress, housekeeping team and pool team. They are there to ensure that all needs are met and that the many indoor and outdoor living spaces are enjoyed to the greatest extent possible.
Tucked into an acre of private and manicured gardens and grounds, the six-bedroom villa has gorgeous style and charm. It features Spanish-inspired design and décor and includes a wonderful blend of al fresco and interior living spaces. Using a breezy but contemporary island style, the modern villa focuses relies a warm palette of wood, stone, terra cotta, cream, and sand. Emphasizing the setting, the lines between interiors and exteriors are blurred with verandahs on both levels gazing down at the pool and the charming gazebo with jacuzzi. Furnished with full-sized sofas and chairs as well as a formal dining suite, the outdoor living spaces may become a favorite destination at all hours of the day or night.
Stepping inside from the fully-furnished verandahs, visitors will appreciate the thought that has gone into the decoration and layout of the great room. An open floor plan and high, pickled wood ceilings make it an airy space and there is a living room area with home cinema, a lounge room, and a dining area. There is also a full-sized gourmet kitchen in addition to a butler’s pantry.
The six bedrooms are divided between the main house and cottage. There is a master suite with king bed in the main house as well as another king suite, a queen suite and a dual single room. All are ensuite and offer great views. The two bedrooms in the cottage feature a queen or dual single bedding and private baths. All have great views and direct access to the grounds and gardens.

Please note all Christmas and New Years reservations are non-refundable.

While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
