Villa Star, St Barts. Villa Star is part of the Caramuche area of St. Barts and sits on a hill above Lorient Beach. A short walk to this flawless stretch of white sand, it offers amazing views of the entire coast stretching off into the distance. A three-bedroom villa, it is a brand new property that features modern style with the kind of soothing esthetic that manages to be both chic as well as welcoming. A creamy white and black palette is accented by natural sandy hues that balance the green of the landscape and blue of the water and skies viewable through every window and door.
The villa really emphasizes the outdoors, using enormous floor to ceiling doors that ensure the entire home is an open-air property that captures all of the light and sea breezes just outside. The real focal point of the property is the view, and the pool area shines a spotlight on the sea and landscape. It features an infinity-edge pool that seems to spill over into the beach below, and on one side is an oversized sun deck furnished with an array of loungers and sun beds. At the other edge is the decking sheltered by the enormous verandah. Here, there is a small lounge space flanked on each side by floor to ceiling doors opening into the great room.
With its high white ceiling and pale wood floors, it is an airy space that includes a large and modern living room, appointed with oversized sofas and chairs and a modern entertainment system. At the front of the great room, and working as an indoor and outdoor space simultaneously, is the dining room. Facing the pool and the setting outdoors, it will be a favorite spot to gather. The kitchen at the back of the great room provides unprecedented views out of the doors and windows and is stocked with an array of modern appliances and gear suitable to the needs of even a finicky cook.
The three bedrooms are all king sized suites that open to the terrace. Each features a large and opulent ensuite bath, amazing sea views, and entertainment systems. One also incorporates an outdoor shower just outside on the deck.
