Villa Ecoute Les Vagues St Barts. With a name like that of the Villa Ecoute les Vagues (which is French for "listen to the waves"), you know you are close to the waterfront. In fact, you are but a few short steps from the gorgeous sands of the coveted Flamands Beach on St. Barts. While a beachfront location in one of the finest areas of the island is a good reason to consider a stay, this charming villa itself is a wonderful find.
Using simple but appealing lines, the three-bedroom villa features an array of amenities found often at much larger properties. Though it is a beachfront villa tucked into a small grove of palms, it features a sunny pool terrace with a charming plunge pool framed by a sun deck. This steps down to the short expanse of lush lawn, and then you are at the shore. Lay in the shade beneath the palms or bathe in the sun by the pool; you can do so in total privacy.
The pool area also features a covered terrace space with a small lounge and dining niche. These open into the spacious and visually stunning interiors. The great room is a show stopper with its high ceilings painted in an untraditional black and white. The terrazzo floors and enormous banks of windows create an unforgettable and appealing look. The open floor plan features a living room with banquette sofa and entertainment system, a formal dining area and the large, gourmet kitchen with its high-end appliances.
The villa also features the three stylish and spacious bedrooms. Two of them open directly to the terrace and all have queen beds. One suite features a dual vanity and private bath while the two that open to the terrace share a large bath.
