Perhaps nowhere is this more noticeable than the pool area. Glass panels serve as transparent banisters, framing the lovely sun deck and the long stretch of infinity edged swimming pool. Cool off in the lounges that rest in the pool itself or tuck beneath the shade of the portico where full-blown, al fresco living and dining rooms allow you to savor every moment. The outdoor living spaces include the bar, full barbecue and outdoor kitchen, dining area and the large, fully-furnished lounge. All these spaces open into the great room, and it too is a masterwork of welcome and comfort.
Inside, the great room features contemporary décor and a soothing sand and beige palette accented with bursts of richly stained mahogany furnishings and art. There is a large, gourmet kitchen with breakfast bar, a formal dining room and an oversized living room with entertainment system. This opens to a rear, stone terrace ideal for afternoon drinks or a quick morning stroll.
The three bedrooms of the Villa Bastide have been designed as king suites. Each features an extensive entertainment system, a king bed, and a private bath. The ensuite baths feature outdoor showers or ocean views, decks and much more. This makes it a wonderful retreat for a small family or set of friends seeking the very best Caribbean experience imaginable, and looking for a one-stop holiday destination.
