Villa Kaloo was great and had all of the necessary accommodations for us. It doesn't have an ocean view but we went to the beaches every day anyway so that is not necessary for us. The pool was great after morning exercise and long days at the beach. Great kitchen that allowed us to eat in when we wanted to. Great garden and grill area- we didn't use it because mosquitoes were bad with a little rain but a great feature to this property. Highly suggest repairs on the indoor shower, it does not drain and you waste clean towels soaking up the overflow... I will say the outdoor shower option helped us overcome that though but some guests will want the indoor shower. Only other complaint was infestation of tiny ant-like insects - we sprayed and cleaned up constantly. The villa needs insect bombed and resealed around all possible entry points like sliding doors where you can see gaps where they can get inside.
St Barts Blue did everything we asked, no complaints whatsoever and Julien made sure we were taken care of. Thank you.
This is our 5th time on St. Barts so plenty of favorites but this time; Black Ginger, Tamarin, Le Piment, Yo Sushimania, Jojo Burger, Burger Palace - you really can't go wrong with food choices in St. Barts, these were just our tastes this time.
Activity Recommendations: Hike to the natural pools in Petit Cul de Sac... beautiful, fun, good workout, and once in a lifetime experience for most. Always enjoy the hike to Columbier.

My husband and I are just about to leave from a wonderful 9-day stay at Villa Kaloo. We chose this villa because the online photos looked so beautiful and the price was very reasonable.

Before getting here though I started second guessing if maybe we should have gone with a villa with a view. I had nothing to worry about. This villa is so beautiful. It's so light and airy and oozes beach style. The outdoor areas and pool are absolutely gorgeous! We also loved that there was a constant cross breeze to keep the outdoor areas nice and comfortable and to keep the mosquitoes away. The pool is also kept at a nice temp. Sometimes I find the pools at some villas are too cold. Not this one. Totally perfect. I probably used the pool more than most others.

We've been to St. Barts about 10 times and have never rented the same villa twice. Villa Kaloo even with not much view is one of my favorite. The villa itself is the view because there's so many special touches everywhere to look at and that make you feel like you're on St. Barts. The owners really put a lot of thought into the design of this villa.

I also want to mention that even though it's just a stone's throw from Le Ti (which we stumbled home from one evening of course), we were not able to hear the noise from the restaurant at all. I had also worried about that.

Lastly, the outdoor shower was heavenly. We took all our showers outside.

I am certainly going to miss Villa Kaloo.

So if you're thinking about booking Villa Kaloo, do not hesitate. It's absolutely wonderful!
