Villa Aqua is a large, four-bedroom, four-bathroom villa directly on Indigo Bay in beautiful St. Martin. The infinity pool spilling off the back terrace blends in so well with the view, one can hardly tell the two apart. Let the sound of the ocean flow into the bedroom over a private balcony. Smell the salt on the air and the sweet Caribbean breeze right on the water at Villa Aqua, St. Martin.
The main living space in Aqua has vaulted white ceilings with a chandelier comprised of three oversize wicker spheres around naked bulbs. The impression is one of the bubbles rising to the surface as if one is underwater about to come up for fresh air. Indeed, fresh air and the ocean stand bright blue against the floor-to-ceiling white palette. Bright blue accent pillows on wicker armchairs and a teak wood-and-white marble coffee table ground the space so no one gets swept out to sea.
For those who might enjoy something like a fishing charter, on the other hand, a complimentary concierge is available to arrange bookings, travel logistics, and car rentals so guests may use their own time to thoroughly enjoy the experience of being on vacation. There’s much to enjoy at Aqua. It may take some time. An alfresco dining experience overlooking the Caribbean ocean at the outdoor dining table set for eight can be catered and prepared in-villa by gourmet chefs* while guests enjoy a sunset view. One would barely know the kitchen was there off the main living space since its cabinets blend in so well with the decor, but five teak wood bar stools await conversations over a continental breakfast.
Four bedrooms feature teak wood four-poster queen beds draped with sheer linens. Each room carries over the same theme of blue accents on white, particularly because every bedroom has an ocean view and a private terrace or balcony as well. With en-suite bathrooms that have marble showers (or an outdoor slate-stone shower in one case), vanities, and water closets, plus air conditioning and ceiling fans, guests in Aqua Villa experience luxurious modern comforts with soothing sounds of the ocean just off the balcony.
While the ocean is literally off the back terrace where the infinity pool meets a bright blue ocean, Aqua is situated on a steep cliff side offering views and privacy. Nearby beaches are easily accessible otherwise.
