Perfectly located in the quaint village of Sayan Ridge in the heart of Ubud is the villa of Hartland Estate. This holiday home gives views of the traditional Balinese rice fields as well as the gorgeous Ayung River. This holiday home is conveniently just ten minutes from the center of the city.
Hartland Estate provides five bedrooms of luxury for you, your family, and your friends. The 6,000 sq. meter estate was designed by the famed architect Yew Juan, who did not disappoint with this holiday home.
When you approach the villa through the private entrance, you’re greeted by a lush, native garden full of the sights, sounds, and smells of the island.
Inside, the three teak-house suites speak to traditional Balinese design. These include a joglo, a glad, and a java house, each with a thatched roof and spacious double beds. Of course, they all have private bathrooms as well as outdoor lounge areas on the private decks. Take in a private yoga or meditation session on your bedroom deck for the ultimate in vacation luxury!
Then there is the two-bedroom stucco cottage with its own individual living and dining pavilion. These bedrooms also have private garden bathrooms, allowing for wonderful private views.
Hartland Estate brings more to the table with the dining areas, too! There are two spaces in which your party can enjoy some island fare, including a fully stocked kitchen and an open-air dining room. The pool house dining area provides ample views of the river, fields, and mountains. Make sure to take in a sunset or two from this area!
If you want to explore beyond this stunning villa, make sure that your agenda includes time spent hiking at Mount Batur and learning to river raft. Stroll down the shopping area and enjoy the local restaurants, too!

While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
