Villa Dorata, Positano, Amalfi Coast, is a super-luxury private palazzo perched 194 steps above the glorious Mediterranean and the light of Positano. Live like royalty in a villa decorated in high Baroque style—amidst lush, tasseled draperies; meticulously selected works of art; ornate chandeliers; exquisite frescoed ceilings; and vaulted alcoves. The exterior is an oasis of verdant gardens, fragrant citrus groves, and picturesque outdoor terraces with breathtaking panoramic ocean and village views.
The great Baroque architectural details evident throughout the villa are highlighted by rich jewel-tone color scheme, gilt-framed works of art, and romantic terraces. There are sumptuously soft sofas, crystal chandeliers, lavish draperies, inlaid ceilings, and exquisite alcoves that make a stay at Villa Dorata a life-long memory. Outside, Eden-like gardens and surrounding groves make lounging and dining al fresco as privileged an experience as life within. Couple all this with a full staff just waiting to attend to your needs, including freshly squeezed juices from the lemons and oranges grown outside your bedroom windows, homemade marmalades and pastries, the finest wine cellar, and two traditional Italian pizza ovens.
Villa Dorata is equipped with a private terrace with an antique-tiled fountain. The ground level features a large terrace perfect for dining al fresco. At the garden level, enjoy orange, lemon, and mandarin groves, along with a quaint loggia, to unwind. The center of Positano can be reached in 8 minutes via steps along the main road (the beach and restaurants are 15 minutes away).
Recently, the town introduced a public elevator from the main street, offering easier access to higher elevations. By minimizing the need to climb extensive stairways, the lift enhances mobility and provides improved access to Villa Dorata, an exclusive private palazzo overlooking the village from above.
The Weekly Rate Includes: Electricity, central A/C, heat, water and final cleaning; Villa staff: the staff has one day off per week; * House-keeping from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm; * Butler for 8 hours per day; Daily change of bed linens and bath towels; Daily Continental breakfast, buffet style; Pool and garden maintenance daily; Wi-Fi internet service; Porter service included from 4 pm to 6 pm on arrival, and from 8 am to 10 am on departure. For arrivals outside of the above scheduled hours, or on Sunday, porter service will be subject to a fee.
Not included in rent : Additional staff hours: €35 per hour/per staff member; Laundry service: €25 per hour/per load; Cook service - upon request. No third-party suppliers allowed: the services will be provided by the villa management and in-house staff; Cost of food and beverage; Telephone and fax charged on usage; Parking fee per day: €50 per car, €80 per van, valet service included (the prices are estimated and are subject to change); Late check-in and early check-out can be arranged with local porter, at a fee; Food allowance: €2,000 to be paid upon arrival in cash.

Credit is based on total booking value before taxes and fees. Credit applies to experiences only and cannot be used toward villa rental, taxes, or fees. Credit must be used during the booked stay and expires at checkout. Cannot be combined with other offers and has no cash value. Valid only on new reservations made within the booking window. Concierge service must be booked directly through our website and does not apply to third-party providers or external websites.
