Villa la Pecine, an ancient mill on the Pecine stream from which it takes its name, stands in a sunny valley in the heart of the Chianti Classico countryside. It is surrounded by the lush woods of Lucignano and Monti, just a short walk from the enchanting village of Gaiole.
Encircled by centuries-old oaks, majestic cypresses, and rows of vineyards, the property features a large private garden with lawns, roses, hydrangeas, and aromatic plants. Two outdoor dining areas with umbrella and barbecue make it ideal for alfresco meals under the Tuscan sky.
A stunning saltwater infinity pool (12 x 6 m, depth 1.50–2.50 m) with loungers, umbrellas, and solar shower enhances the outdoor space. The pool, open from late April to early October, is framed by a Chianti stone solarium and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. At the back, there is private parking for up to 4 cars.
Villa la Pecine includes a main building and a charming dependance, located about 20 meters apart for added privacy. Internet Wifi is included, and all rooms (except bathrooms) are air-conditioned with mosquito screens. Pets are allowed on request, and baby facilities are available.
Once an ancient mill, the villa has been beautifully restored with exposed beams, terracotta floors, and stone walls, blending rustic charm with elegant furnishings. Inside, you’ll find spacious and bright living areas with sofas, a TV, piano, and dining room overlooking the pool. The kitchen is fully equipped and offers direct access to the garden. A laundry room is also available.
The independent dependance provides a cozy sitting area with a minibar and breakfast table, along with a bathroom featuring a hydromassage shower—perfect for guests seeking extra privacy.
Excluded from the price: Final cleaning (500.00€); heating (200.00€ per week if used); pets allowed on request (50.00€ per pet per week or part of a week). Tourist tax if required (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from 0.50€ to 4.00€ per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival). All extra charges have to be paid in cash on site.

While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
