Villa Borgo Bernardini in the Lucca area of Tuscany is a magnificent estate with 12 bedrooms, making it ideal for family gatherings, conferences and other events. Situated just 10 miles from the chic walled town of Lucca, the villa offers magnificent views of the hill towns that dot the area. The authentic architecture provides typical Tuscan features in a setting with ancient olive groves, colorful flowers, intimate piazzas and traditional fountains. There is a fully-equipped modern kitchen with a Tuscan hearth that opens to an outdoor terrace, providing views of the tiled pool and the lush Italian countryside.
Villa Borgo Bernardini is designed in the grand style, with an impressive salon featuring a cozy fireplace, a piano and numerous comfortable seating areas that overlook the valley. This handsome room is enhanced by high ceilings and traditional terracotta flooring. There is a formal banquet hall for entertaining and a wine tasting room with a carefully selected collection of local wine.
Guests can relax in several areas throughout the estate, including the domed music room, the card and billiard room, the sun lounge/library and the formal living room featuring satellite TV and DVD.
Bedrooms are decorated in warm Tuscan colors and provide private baths offering Italian tile and luxurious linens. Three of the bedrooms are located in the original stone chapel of the estate with views of the grounds and the swimming pool.

The Borgo Bernardini estate has bedrooms in 3 buildings; the main villa, the cottage and the chapel. Main Villa Five bedrooms located on the upper floor over the Billiard Room, Summer Room, Music Room and wine library and around a courtyard. Parts of the building are over 1000 years old and it was originally a hunting lodge and olive press.

While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
