The style encompasses traditional elements brought into the now with updated add-on’s for today’s lifestyles: there is a heated pool equipped with umbrellas and deck loungers, offering a breath-taking view of the valley. Modern, comfortable and soothing, this is a zen retreat full of light and a welcoming vibe.
The interior of the property measures 310 square meters plus 200 square meters of terraces and it can accommodate a total of 8 guests. The estate includes 1,5 hectares of surrounding wood area and private grounds.
Hidden away, yet very close to Todi, this estate offers four bedrooms decorated in contemporary style with color-washed walls in pale shades, contemporary materials and strategic sights over the surrounding valley. The home design, approached with research in the estate technical and historical contexts, results in a contemporary result with stone, floors, quality wooden boards and glass. The Swiss owners wanted to project the 100-years old cottage in the 21st century through a restructuring and expansion: no fossil energy is used for photovoltaic panels produce the energy that the house needs; the sanitary water is heated by the sun through thermal panels and rainwater should be collected in a large cistern to irrigate the lawn. A well ensures water supply during the rainless summer weeks.
Only the best avant-garde materials and technologies have been chosen for the renovation and work carried out in a workmanlike manner by local artisans. In fact, in the Casale, thanks to a heat pump, to radiant floors, a homogeneous and pleasant temperature is guaranteed both in summer and winter. No air conditioning or radiators are used but a cooling system - underfloor heating. A forced-air system further optimizes the well-being of the house: the farmhouse features an A4 energy class.

~ If guests cancel the reservation more than 31 days prior to the arrival, 10% of the Gross Rental will be forfeited.
~ If guests cancel the reservation within 30 days of the arrival date due to Covid-19, a voucher credit will be available for travel to the same property until December 31, 2021.
Note: This exceptional cancellation condition applies for Covid-related only cancellations. Proof that guests cannot travel will be requested.
