This fixed-itinerary tour invites you to experience the daily life of a local farmer dedicated to organic and sustainable practices in Bali’s lush Jatiluwih region. Walk through his organic rice fields, part of a UNESCO protected landscape, and depending on the season, you may participate in planting, harvesting, or other stages of the rice cycle while learning about traditional, chemical-free farming methods.
Your journey continues with a visit to his village temple, where you will take part in a simple ritual of offering flowers, incense, and prayers, offering insight into the spiritual connection between farming and daily life in Bali.
The experience concludes at the farmer’s family home, where you will help prepare and enjoy a farm-to-table meal using fresh, organic local ingredients. The meal is cooked in the traditional way, sealed inside bamboo tubes and slowly roasted over an open fire, creating a truly unique and authentic culinary experience.
This tour includes: Private, round-trip air-conditioned transportation with an English-speaking driver, an English-speaking guide on site, mineral water, snacks/fruits in the car, all entrance fees, parking, donations, offerings, Balinese clothing and an incredible traditional bamboo lunch in a Balinese house.

Arrival Instructions / What to Bring:
The exact pick-up time will be confirmed after booking, as it depends on the departure location you indicate in the “Additional Requests” field (Ubud, Sanur, Canggu, or Kerobokan).

Depending on factors such as destination specifics, traffic conditions, the Balinese calendar, customer requests, and weather, the partner may adjust the day’s itinerary, subject to the customers’ agreement and with prior notice whenever possible.
Due to the partner’s high training standards and the uniqueness of the locations, only the partner’s guides and drivers are permitted. Third-party guides and drivers are not allowed.
Fresh drinking water is provided during the tour to help reduce single-use plastic. Glasses are also available in the vehicle if guests do not have a refillable bottle.

For cancellation 31 to 8 days before tour: 50% charge
For cancellations 7 days or less before the tour no refunds are provided. (100% charge)
Change requests: Reservation changes after a service/activity is confirmed is subject to a $35 change fee.
