While the center of Zermatt is only a picturesque 15-minute stroll away, an alternative is a swift ride in an electric taxi. Ideal for the most discerning skiers, the chalet offers the luxury of skiing to and from its doorstep (conditions permitting), and the nearby gondola grants passage to the glacier paradise.
This idyllic positioning allows for arguably some of the finest views of the world-renowned Matterhorn within the resort. Each apartment boasts a balcony or terrace that frames dramatic vistas of this breathtaking peak. With ten twin/double bedrooms, each adorned with en-suite bath and shower rooms, Chalet Shalimar comfortably accommodates up to 20 guests. The option to configure each bedroom as a double with single duvets offers flexibility. Ideal for sizeable corporate gatherings or families, the chalet can be enjoyed as a single entity or divided into an eight-person and a twelve-person apartment, catering to smaller groups. In the split configuration, each apartment boasts independent living spaces and facilities, ensuring optimal comfort.
A harmonious blend of traditional alpine wood and timber, coupled with carefully selected soft furnishings, envelops the chalet in an atmosphere of relaxation and coziness. The top floor of Chalet Shalimar is a haven for living and dining, featuring floor-to-ceiling sliding doors that invite abundant natural light. Expansive balconies offer breathtaking Matterhorn panoramas, serving as the perfect backdrop for pre-dinner drinks or basking in the warm spring sun. As evening falls, sink into sumptuous sofas before a roaring fire. When the chalet is reserved in its entirety, one side of the top floor transforms into a main dining room comfortably seating 20, while the other side evolves into the principal living area. Two additional smaller living spaces and entertainment rooms ensure ample opportunity to discover a quiet corner for relaxation apart from the group. The ski and boot room is conveniently situated on the ground floor.

While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.
The arrival procedures vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.
