The temazcal is a purification ceremony through a steam bath with medicinal and aromatic herbs that has been practiced since ancient times by the inhabitants of Mexico, Mesoamerica and North America.
Water infused with aromatic herbs is used, which when poured on hot volcanic stones, steam is generated that relaxes the muscles and opens the pores of the skin, purifying it.
In addition to these physical benefits, the mind also frees itself from the thought patterns that occupy it allowing for total relaxation and purification. During the approximately two hours that the ceremony lasts, we pause to release excess heat, the elements and the different stages of life are represented, we pay respect to everything that makes life possible and we remind ourselves of what it truly is. essential, freeing us of any unnecessary weight in order to find our balance.
After the ceremony we visit a cenote to refresh ourselves, close the pores of the skin and complete the process of relaxation and purification. We will share exquisite regional foods and seasonal fruit.
As an option, we will be able to say goodbye to the sun on this day from the top of a large temple at the archaeological site of Cobá in extra official hours. And with the site with very few visitors we will ride a bike among trees and temples. We will climb a 42-meter temple to enjoy a beautiful sunset and thus close a great day of exploration, discovery and healing.

Arrival Instructions / What to Bring:
- Guests will be picked up at their villa/hotel. Precise pick up time will be confirmed at a booking time.
- Bring: Swimwear, towel, extra towel or pareo that can be put into the temazcal and get dirty, comfortable shoes, hydrate well and eat lightly before the ceremony, cash.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation policy: 20% is non-refundable upon booking. For cancellations within 7 days of the service/activity, no refunds are provided
- Change requests: Reservation changes after a service/activity is confirmed is subject to a $35 change fee.
