With four bedrooms and four bathrooms, Sugarcane Mews welcomes eight guests per stay and seats all comfortably. Cushy armchairs of gray velvet with maroon red accent pillows huddle around a glass coffee table and television, as though to encourage a glass of scotch and conversation about golf. What’s more, the huddled privacy of this bold space made for easy conversation is the open veranda, welcoming light to the space and offering a glimpse of the sweeping views of palms and Caribbean waters beyond.

The bottom level is two king-sized bedrooms and a king-sized master bathroom. All bedrooms include air conditioning, an Apple flatscreen television, bathroom, sink, and shower, but the two ground floor bedrooms have poolside access and the master bathroom has a tub. The poolside includes a barbecue, lounge chairs, an umbrella, and a garden with grass to spread the toes in.

The main floor dining table sits on the veranda off the main living space and kitchen that runs along the whole of the top floor. A delicate silver-and-glass light fixture hangs over the dining set accompanied by white ceiling fans, a textured piece on the far veranda wall, and more subtle wall-mounted outdoor lighting fixtures to offer ambiance at dinner. An outdoor lounge set makes an after-dinner coffee or board game on the veranda a great way to cap off the evening. More seating is also available just off the kitchen where there are three bar stools on an island overlooking the dining table and veranda towards the golf course.
