Overlooking the lovely Sapodilla Bay in Turks & Caicos, the Villa Turquesa is a stunning example of Caribbean design and décor along with luxurious amenities. Part of a private community, it is a spectacularly scenic property that features an appealing palette chosen to emulate the setting. Sea greens and blues, turquoise and white all come together to create a casual and yet stimulating setting indoors and out.
The front of the property focuses on the pool and the scenery and features the lovely swimming pool terrace framed by swaying palms and a furnished sun deck. A portico offers lounging areas and leads to a screened porch nearby. Step through the doors and you are greeted by high ceilings and an open floor plan that enhances the sea breezes and the light from outside.
The greet room features a large living room near the al fresco dining, there is a formal dining room as well, and this opens into the gourmet kitchen furnished with the latest appliances and which opens to the grounds.
There are four bedrooms in the villa, and they are divided between upper and lower floors. On the ground floor is one king bedroom with direct terrace access, ocean views and a large ensuite bath. Upstairs, the master suite has a stunning private deck and an ensuite bath with Jacuzzi. The remaining suites feature another king room with deck, and a double with balcony and bath. There is also housekeeping and laundry on the premises.
The Villa Turquesa is a wonderful find for the family or group of friends in search of a private, attractive, and convenient place which to enjoy a holiday. It was exactly as described. We had a group of six and were there for our 25th anniversary. Everyone loved their rooms and their private bathrooms. The kitchen and the other common areas were great. The pool and the deck areas were awesome. Snorkeling off the lower deck by some of our guests was said to be phenomenal. Taylor Bay Beach is across the street and that beach is nice as well. We were worried about the construction based on other reviews, but honestly it wasn't bad. We heard it sometimes, but it was so easy to tune out given the setting. The one thing I would say is to really be mindful of your electric usage while there, because you will be billed for that. Be sure to remind guests to turn off lights, close doors, etc. - just like you would do at home.
This is a charming, ultra clean, well furnished villa on cliff overlooking ocean; with deck and stairs to ocean(no beach) but you can jump right in the gentle water from deck for swim.Endless ocean views!
So beautiful; rooms and furnishings good quality and exactly as pictured.
Great bathrooms. Beach literally 2 min walk across road at end of driveway.
Wow! If I were to build my dream Caribbean home, it would look a lot like Villa Turquesa. Everything from the landscaping to the whitewashed ceilings were stunning and perfectly appointed. Very Pottery Barn/Frontgate in style, just beautiful. The location can't be beat either - the house is on a cliff overlooking Sopadilla bay (accessed by a set of stairs with a dock built out over the water) and also directly across from a short path to Taylor Bay (my Father In Law timed the door-to-water time as 92 seconds). The pool is also beautiful and pretty big for a villa, we opted to pay extra to get it heated, which I would recommend in the winter, especially if you like night swimming. We kept the house open nearly all the time and the breezes were more than enough to keep us comfortable. We were a group of 6 adults, two young children and two infants - major props to Kerry and the local staff for helping us with high chairs, cribs, and bed rails. It was hard to tell from the pics how easily our young kids might access the pool, but we found that all but one of the doors out to the pool had locking screens, and the other we just blocked with a small piece of furniture. The screened porch is a great place for a relaxing dinner, if you can summon up the motivation to cook yourself instead of going to all the great restaurants in Provo.
